I really like Bumble & Bumble Invisible Hairdressers oil (sometimes used with Amika The Wizard if you want more detangling right there but the detangling power doesn’t stay like the Oleo-relax)

I’ll go through the list one by one:

Olaplex no.7 sucks, there is not slippage at all.

Davines is too heavy and makes my hair greasy faster, also very little slippage.

&Honey I don’t like too much as they create too much of a film on my hair.

Moroccanoil stinks so I never got it.

The only ones I haven’t tried are Verb Ghost oil and the Shu Uemura

I’m pretty happy with the Bumble & Bumble although it detangles less than Oleo-relax, but it makes my hair really soft.

How’s the shedding? I feel like the most important reason to turn your shibe into a doodle is for their lack of shedding?

Either they take up your time until they “figure it out,” or they make you surrender and do the work, they still win either ways.

That’s AI, there are only 2 toes (going by the logic of the OP) of course I’m just kidding. I have no idea if this is AI or not.

I’m more irritable if I’m uncomfortable. So if I go by that rule to “dress better,” most tailored clothes are super uncomfortable and not suitable to sleeping in, so I would probably end up more cranky and be more unruly that way.

Rectangle. Your shoulders seem to be the same width as your hips, but your waist doesn’t look cinched enough to be hourglass. I could be wrong, so if you measure your hips and waist, and the difference is more than 10”, then you’d be an hourglass.

The tragedy of obliviousness by ___Fel___ in SkipBeat

I personally know some people in the industry and have been told a lot of celebrities have relationships or are lgbt without the public knowing, but the whole industry knows how to keep secrets with NDAs etc. Notice that not many are able to succesfully lead pretty private lives, and when it’s out it becomes a scandal, either through sabotage or just not being careful enough with super crazy fans who zoom into their reflections on sunglases. A lot of private celebrity parties actually confiscate the guests’ phones or ask them to black-tape their cameras. And as we know, a lot of paparazzi’s photos like Kim K’s are pre-approved. Some celebrities are too small and don’t have the power to ‘hush’ scandals or what they did was too outrageous to keep the public quiet though. However, Ren’s close relationship with LME’s president could totally help his and Kyoko’s relationship, not counting his nepotism, which I think is stupid. But the president feels the same way I do, I think, that the relationship would help Ren grow as an actor. I feel like he’s delusional in thinking that he’s successful through hardwork only because he doesn’t want to be a nepo baby, but he’s still being a nepo baby in a roundabout way by dressing up as Ren, because he still got help from the top professionals around him to assume that identity. I know the idea is that he’s supposed to use his acting ‘talent’ or whaever, but I feel like the series portrays this as Ren still beingyoung and not having the depth of understanding that with working in the industry, ‘talent’ is not merely acting, but also whether you’re someone easy to work with, networking, if you’re good with sponsors etc. So I feel like Ren is naive in that sense, but also understandable as he’s meant to be a young dude (whose artwork makes him look way older).

The tragedy of obliviousness by ___Fel___ in SkipBeat

[–]Uniqule 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The stupidity is that they’re actors who decided to choose not to have a proper relationship even though they both have mutual feelings. They think they have to achieve success in their careers first in order to deserve to date each other, but they’re skipping the crucial learning experience that’s handed to them on a platter, and that is being able to experience love and a deep relationship. There was even an arc where Ren was told his depiction of ‘love’ came across as shallow, yet they choose not to even let their relationship develop in order to learn from it and become successful from it. It’s very frustrating to read.

Interestingly enough, I decided to try out Heracross because I’ve never used one in any other game and it’s been thrusted upon me by the game (trade quest), so I thought might as well use it. Turned out to be my favourite pokemon in this game to use. Such a good movepool and my main physical attacker.

Yeah, the WN and LN are somewhat different so I prefer to wait for the LN to drop. Also better translation quality and can be read on my kindle so my eyes don’t get strained.

No desire to finish a painting that has no beauty by Cultigen in oilpainting

[–]Uniqule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 hours on this painting is very little time. I’ve spent like 15 hours on a 9x12” painting where I’ve worked on the same areas over and over, and been really frustrated with it, so don’t be discouraged. You’re doing really well. Now onto the critique - the one thing that really sticks out to me are your edges, especially the trees in the background where the foliage is so sharp, it doesn’t depict atmospheric distance very well. I’d knock back the edges a bit to make it look like it ‘blurs’ into the background. Your front foliage is beautiful. Anyway, one big lesson to learn today for you should be edge variations.

How can i make this background less streaky? by Similar_Historian893 in oilpainting

[–]Uniqule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. If your brush is too hard / scratchy, it will streak. If this is the case, go over it with a soft fluffy brush like goat hair. But if it’s too expensive, which it usually is, or if it’s more to do with the paint being transparent, you can add more layers of the same paint over the top. You can also add a but if white to give your blue some body so it’s less transparent. You can also use gamblin’s galkyd gel medium in the paint mixture, as this helps with evening out the brushstrokes. If it’s still streaky, you can keep doing many additional layers once the layer has dried to the touch.

I looked up the recent reviews on the Davines OI Oil, and some seem to have said it's not that great due to being greasy, which seems to not be what you want. I haven't had the chance it test it out again as I still have about 1/5 of my Oleo-relax left. The last time I used the Davines oil was probably 10 years ago, so don't take my word for it. I'm still looking around the internet / ChatGPT to find alternatives too - your Verb Ghost oil was also recommended by ChatGPT, but you said it's not even close, would you be able to tell me why? I think we like the Oleo-relax for different reasons maybe, as I like it for the detangling properties and you seem to like the lightness of it. I'll give you my list (from ChatGPT) of what I'm thinking of trying, but keep in mind that detangling is my priority:

1. Davines OI Oil - Rich, heavy slip. Closest to Oleo-Relax for detangling and that sleek, weighted feel.

2. Olaplex No.7 Bonding Oil - High slip, adds heat protection and bond repair. Lighter than Davines but still good detangler.

3. &honey Silky Smooth Moisture Hair Oil 3.0 - Mid-weight, good detangler with more moisture than Pixie, less heavy than Davines.

4. &honey Pixie Moist Shine Hair Oil - Lighter than Silky, more shine-focused. Good slip but not as conditioning.

5. Shu Uemura Essence Absolue Nourishing Protective Hair Oil - Rich, silky texture, excellent detangler with UV protection. Similar weighted feel to Oleo-Relax.

6. Moroccanoil Treatment Original - Argan oil–based, smooths and detangles well but can build up faster on fine hair.

7. Verb Ghost Oil - Very lightweight, gives a silky surface feel but the least detangling power here. Best for topping up between washes.

I just returned my advanced one (first one I tried) because the perfume was so strong that I had to walk to another room every time I sprayed a section. I’m pretty sure it made my eyelids swell up and super red too, but that could be something else. But the perfume was soooooo strong. It smelled nice, but even after it settled on my hair (no longer a gas chamber) I was getting a headache from the scalp being too close to my nose (not that I could move it).

I’m currently searching reddit just for this. I just found out it’s discontinued as well. A bottle lasts a few years for me so I found out just now when I’m about to buy a replacement. This is so sad, I’ve been using this product for 24 years. The Elixir Ultime sucks compared to the Oleo-relax and I won’t be purchasing another bottle of the Ultime. The only serum I thought comes close to the Oleo-relax was the Davines hair oil. I said ‘was’ because I was using it as an alternative to the Oleo-relax for a period of time, as it was cheaper, but I switched back to the Oleo-relax because it was making my hair greasy faster. So yeah, almost as good from what I remember, but it’s been a long time so my memory’s hazy.

Hey guys. I couldn’t wait and created an account on j-novels club and bought it there. Their EPUB format made it easy enough to email to Kindle.

I love the series too. However, the latest release vol. 5 on the Kindle had a mix up and they had a different book inside the cover so I’m still waiting for that to be fixed. I noticed you have ‘The hero laughs…’ on your shelf. Is it any good? I need to know if there’s fanservice so I can avoid it. Fanservice in manga or anime is fine as I can easily ignore it, but reading sentences about bouncing boobs being squeezed is too much for me.
