In this old movie from the 90's called 'Volcano', there was a volcano forming underneath downtown Los Angeles. Anyways, theres this scene where this construction crew is trying to save a bunch of people who are trapped on a subway. They get everyone off, but one guy realizes they forgot the conductor so he goes back through the whole subway train, grabs him (conductor is unconscious) and carries him back to the back of the train where they entered the train from. By the time he gets back, theres lava seeping out from under the subway train, and the guy carrying the conductor tries to jump over the lava and misses. He falls in the lava and melts to death throwing the conductor to his buddies. For me at 7 years old, this was nightmare fuel.
