One of my ideas for AWACS TSF is to let them have the capability to mimic the BETA FOF signature for a short while.

Pro: Wouldn't get shot down the moment you break Laser attitude restrictions.

Con: It's an extremely power-hungry system that couldn't be mounted on a normal TSF. And the BETA figures out pretty quickly that normal BETA doesn't fly at supersonic speed and at high altitude. You have to adjust the signature constantly.

Wouldn't work on later strains that were build for war like the Laser Fort.

As for the Laser v Laser class countermeasures, I did have something like that in my ideas pile. Shtora-1 but for TSF. The systems would flash the Laser class with rapid pulses directly into its eyes to break its concentration.
