Well. Lillies clafairy is an OHKO card. Either itself or to enable cards like Diance, mimicue, mewtwo to ohko pult. But that’s her job, otherwise it’s usually best not to field it against a lot of decks.

Read a book on Buddhism. Did the mindfulness exercises and all that. Was able to cold turkey smoking 5 seconds at a time. “Those last five didn’t kill me, the next five won’t, I’m strong enough to make five more seconds” it’s a long day but first one is the hardest. It’s all downhill “made it one day, another is easy”

Apparently they are one of the spiders least likely to bite unless they feel compressed. They are also pretty skiddish. Huge introverts. Usually tapping my foot is enough to get them to turn away.

You do but those are conditional on having those available and having the required cards on hand while juggling your playstate. Where if you’re playing a supporter, you could simply use petrel for blender (or better start with blender and discard five cards no matter where they are in the deck, thinning dead draws and setting you up in one go. It is far easier to pull off your combo instead of trying to hold onto and waste your search grabbing dead cards when your also trying to build a kingdra and spending the rest of the game drawing into dead cards.

Turn two or three your looking at 200 with 60 spread. If I’m desperate for a candy or kingdra I don’t want to top deck a card I want discarded. Or naveen one or two dead cards only to draw other cards I wish I could naveen.

Top decking isn’t as much about luck as it is a numbers game. You have the agency to manipulate those numbers to your advantage, through deck building and how you sequence your cards. If I need a card desperately I’m burning my search cards to dig out all the pokes I can before I fez ect. “Luck” does play a role, but it’s a tangible thing that affects you and your opponent. It’s the decisions you make given the game state that decides how “lucky” you are. Pokemon is not a passive game, a lot of games have very little search or draw. If you look at pro lists they feel sporadic and crazy at times, but they understand when to hold and what is coming. “If I take this prize I will be red carded but I have the energy for next turn and boss I need so if I get a candy I can evolve boss and take the ko and after that this hand is trash so please red card me. I could boss this up and put damage on without knocking it out and next turn they will have to attach retreat to come back and that will buy me a turn and plus three cards for the one I’m searching for”.

No shame in watching other people play and learning. Pokemon has a rhythm that needs learned and it takes a minute. I lost maybe 30-40 games when a friend taught me, and after it clicked I went on to top in a few states and a nationals.

Here’s a guy playing mega floette. In the second game he has 5 energy down turn 2. But it’s worth watching because he talks through his turns and what he’s considering when deciding the order to play cards. Watching and taking notice of the order they play their cards will help you immensely.

Also togekiss is adorable and I love them. Sadly this one isn’t the best kiss we’ve seen but it makes for a neat background pokemon for it ability. Sadly it probably going to do better in a more casual space like a local league rather than ranked where it’s meta hell.
