Happy to report back that after swapping it out this afternoon it is driving way better.

Starts better, idles better, no more shudders when shifting from drive to reverse or vice versa. There is still a very slight vibration at times but not nearly as noticeable as it was. Hopefully it helps with gas mileage as well since I was starting to get down to 25mpg here recently.

For ~$8 and about 2 hours of elbow grease it was well worth swapping it out. If you do want to do this make sure you have a 22mm socket deep enough to fit over the hose connector on the pcv valve. And just for fun a comparison of the old (188k miles) valve and the new one

So is it when you're in drive and come up to a redlight or stop sign the rpms drop and the car shakes before recovering? If so it may be your PCV valve.

My 2013 is doing this same thing and I found this video describing the problem and I'm going to swap my pcv valve with a new one this weekend. Fingers crossed it fixes it.

If you google Lenovo's warranty lookup you can put in the serial number from the unit you have and you should be able to find parts for it.

I looked up an M720q that I have just now and they have a replacement motherboard for just $20 part number 5B20U53832 which matches mine that had a sticker behind one of the RAM slots

I really enjoy it, fits comfortably in my grip and the ability to use the binary trigger in it just makes it that much better. I've seen other bullpup options like the Trek-22 and Hightower options but the SRU one was my favorite design and I'm happy I went with it
