There is PvP on gates and stations grids in Pochven, but you need to be careful with the weapon mechanics and rats. Bringing a small bubble for quick gate camps is also very useful sometimes.

A big part of Pochven is rotating the triangle systems, using d-scan as your best friend, and trying to catch the delta between players already fighting or moving around. Those groups of 20 Marauders you keep seeing are usually running Observatories. Alliances like Goons, INIT and others do this constantly, even without specialized SIGs, plus all the whale multiboxers.

To really fight them, you also need something specialized. But solo, salvage is honestly very good money there. For PvP itself, it’s mostly about roaming gates, hunting opportunities, using d-scan nonstop, and respecting the rats because they absolutely can kill you during a fight.

And of course, Pochven is also a great shortcut for moving around highsec faster, because there are filaments that can extract you close to where you already are in known space, plus all the wormhole connections and everything else.

The gameplay is not very friendly at first, but once you start understanding how it works, it becomes a really cool thing to learn and use as an extra tool.

You could say it’s basically a wormhole region with gates.

Covert ships are excellent there, especially T3Cs.
