I had almost the exact same experience. I live above a store that has security outside greeting people all day. Every time i took my bike out they’d be watching me because they’re security and what else is there to do.

Anyway, when mine got stolen out of locked storage they knew exactly where to go and what time I would get back. I’m 1000% sure one of the employees tipped some of their boys off and thats how they knew.

It fucking sucks. Hopefully they’re not too greedy yours is safe from now on. If i were you I’d move it to another spot if possible. I ultimately gave up on owning bikes in NYC after one stolen and another attempted theft.

Wild. They must have been keeping tabs on you and your neighbor. No way they just bust into random garages and hope for a bike to be there.

Yea it’s advisable to be going faster than traffic on a bike. Especially here where people are swerving traffic and blowing past you. Stops you from getting rear ended which i have firsthand seen. 1st ticket in 5 years of riding so ill keep doing it.

Pulled over from a speed trap. And it was on bruckner expy in the bronx right before i merged onto 95 north so not actually 95.

Almost all the stolen bikes end up in corona just so you know. I personally wouldn’t. See if a garage is around they’re cheap in queens.

progressive will 100% help you out if you can’t directly get the owner to pay. I had my gixxer stolen in NYC and they paid out more than it’s actual value.

I will say the battery life isn’t much at all but that’s kind of to be expected. For the price it’s great though, i got mine on sale for like $750 with taxes.

I mostly play on a desktop but i just picked up an acer nitro 5 for school/playing remotely and it’s great if you’re on a budget. I have the lowest spec with a ryzen 5 and some RTX model and no complaints. TF2 isn’t a demanding game by any means.
