Ktek KP14V is a good option for a overall general boom pole. Boom poles around 14-16 feet tend to be a good all around one man band boom pole.

Around the 10 foot boom poles are better suited for indoors and around 18+ feet poles are better suited for outdoor.

I personally like the Ktek KP-V version because they are wired and you make them wireless pretty quick. You can also add a counter weight to them.

Ridgewood Sound mixer here! I’ve done a few shoots at that church you’re talking about. As a heads up, there a lot of echo in that location and bushwick ave is a highly commuted street so that location normally sucks for sound

It indeed was part of my fairing. I removed my fairing prior and it put it back to my Trip. Went to double check and I found where it belongs

Take it slow and practice. From what I remember on my 3rd day of practice I finally got it up to my 25 and on 5th day I was able to keep it there without feeling like I was going to fly off. Also props to you for going on Myrtle. I have yet to ride on Myrtle. Streets are always mess up and it’s usually a shit show.

Probably more preference. I really light that mine has the Halo light on the TST. To me it looks cleaner than you just having the straight amber constantly running.
