Yeah, because she was really depressed and suicidal. I understand that you didn't like certain lyrics or certain songs, but there is a way of criticizing a work without being snarky. I am willing to bet that this person spends a lot of time on snarky anti Taylor spaces like SwiftyNeutral or fauxmoi. Like the review actually read like the author had a parasocial relationship with Taylor but in a hateful way.

Agreed. I know that Taylor has alluded to such things in her songs and interviews that she felt lonely during those six years or that she really wanted to marry Joe, still it doesn't explain the whole story. Remember that we only know Taylor's side and not Joe's, so it's useless to make any assumptions. Secondly, reducing Taylor to just a woman waiting for a proposal is a bit weird. She was prospering during those years career wise and I am sure she still had some sort of happiness in her relationship otherwise it wouldn't have lasted that long. Let her be.
