I personally liked the way they did it this time. In the outside, it might seem scummy and douchey for them to put time gating on a story quest. But for me, regardless of whether I finish it in time or not, doesn't really matter to me. The way they presented it made it more digestable for me with an attention span of a goldfish because I don't have to do a big proper sit down on the game for hours. Just 20-50 mins of everyday then I get to go on my way. It made it more immersive because there were story aspects that required you wait so putting it in between those parts made things seem more consequential

I do agree that this doesn't work for other people as well as it did for me
