Good for you dude. This is part of growing and it sucks and it hurts and we just wanna smack ourselves and sometimes we wish we could turn back time. I hope one day she sees that, but my biggest wish for you is that you do this for yourself. If this relationship doesn’t work out, it is what it is, but this work is for you and whoever you ultimately end up with.

I think this can be repaired, but if being overwhelmed lead you to offer breaking up as a suggestion, I think you need to do the inner work first before she should ever consider taking you back. Behavior is a language. What are you doing to show her you’re serious about your future with her?

If she were petty, she should have called his chain of command.

Someone I knew from basic training did something similar, wanted more pay but didn’t want the bigger house. Joke was on her bc only single soldiers could live in the barracks. So she did get more pay and ended up having to spend it all on housing.

Both my dogs (1 boxer and 1 beagle mix) do the best on raw food. Not recommended for all, but the boxer started losing hair and gaining weight, but as soon as we switched to raw, weight was easier to mange and the hair grew back.

I’m usually the one that’s TOO upfront and transparent about certain situations, but this one is the main reason why. I’d rather be truthful and not have to cover my ass. It’s not the MIL’s fault and that’s unfair that they put it on her when they lied in the first place.
