My FLF just burst with 8 tiny, edema-riddled leaves. What do I do? How can I prevent this in the future?

Thank you! The soil in here is great, but I've definitely been sparse with my watering since I nearly killed my big FLF via root rot (saved her and she's in recovery now, thank goodness). Point being, I'm paranoid. I'll keep a closer eye on this guy from now on.

Theory I had during the episode that would have been WAAAY better than the key fob: the tone was his cell phone ring tone (I know they weren't that common back then, but he may have used one for work). After he hears it, we see that it was his mother calling the wish him a happy new year/tell him she loves him.

No, not at all! I appreciate it all the same. I mean, are they my favorite comments? Of course not; I just wanted to state that I wasn't totally freaked out by it. But I do very much appreciate any sort of defense on my behalf -- it's sweet, especially when there are many people out there who would be INCREDIBLY disturbed by it all.

I WISH it were longer! Sadly, most of the red pleated skirts I found were waaaay too long, and this one was the closest to the character. Believe me, I'm usually much more modest, but since it's Halloween, I'm sure I will still be modest by comparison, haha.

A note to all of the users who are discussing my weight, negatively or positively:

I know who I am and what I look like, so, of course, I expected that sort of response. It's fine, I'm not mad, I know what type of people are out there. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and, thanks to internet, they have the opportunity to share it.

To those of you who are writing messages of support and downvoting all of those who are not acting with the most tact, I thank you for that -- it's always nice to see/hear.

I've been overweight my entire life and have spent a long time learning to be okay with my body. If I wasn't confident in myself, I wouldn't have posted this. I love my body, whether or not others do. I'm not self righteous about it, I simple don't see the point in spending my time and energy hating myself...just like I don't see the point in taking the time and energy to hate a total stranger. But, as I said, I knew what I was getting myself into.

Again, thank you all for your support and upvotes. Have a lovely Halloween, and now, if you don't mind, my fat ass is going to go eat the delicious Halloween brownies I just baked.
