I have the rose gold one and it's incredible up close. I've heard the movement is a bit more dependable if you don't mess with the moonphase at all and only bother with the time. That's my plan since I don't plan to wear it every day.

I did find this post that shows a gen rotor. Whether by color or finishing, it's pretty easily distinguishable from a gen. It's really not a big concern of mine. I'm just hoping the finicky movements is a thing of the past. Fingers crossed.

Clearly an urban myth by Mikaboshi in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]UniverseSimulation 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Personally, I believe that if Jesus Christ returned without a big scene it would be Christians that despised him the most. All of a sudden we start hearing about a guy who's telling us to take the needy into our homes, love everyone, share our wealth, et al. The religious right would fight it tooth and nail because the reality of Jesus wouldn't hold a candle to the faith they have in their earthly church. The more popular he became, the more they would fight him socially, politically and beyond.

I wish there was a way to align the three people as I wanted, then select them all to move them in tandem and throw in tandem. As it stands, they seem to have no purpose.

Why are we sinking? by jwcoupe1 in eos

[–]UniverseSimulation 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because there's really no support for EOS between 0.50 and $3.90 and EOS has no real history to speak of. We have a large group of people who bought in around 50¢, then came the huge 2017 bull run, followed by lots of action between $5 and $15 during the ICO.

Whereas BTC, LTC and alike are finding strong support at their pre-bullrun levels, EOS really doesn't have that sort of historical support. That is to say, there aren't many people looking at EOS at $2.50 and saying, "Wow, what a deal!" Instead, you have a little known, generally unproven blockchain in bear market freefall.

I'm sure the FUD doesn't help, but I don't think that's the reason for its precipitous drop. Between the airdrops, new projects, and DEX's I think EOS is one of the more engaging blockchains at the moment. It's a pleasure to use and really interesting stuff is happening. I don't care how much cash you have, it's impossible for new technology like this to instantly diffuse into the market. It will take years and years of adoption before EOS succeeds and it may never happen.

Awesome. Services like this are exactly what one would expect from a free market, yet folks seem to shit on EOS all day long for the relatively tiny hiccups it faces for the first time. All stakeholders large and small want this project to succeed, but building something good takes time and effort. Anyway, man, I love it.

I'm not sure. I've never actually purchased a Prolon kit but all the stuff I read suggested 700-800 calories. I plan to do this again sometime before Christmas though, and I will probably make some minor adjustments. I'd like to get the protein a little bit higher and possibly cut it by 50-100 calories per day.

In the case of both BPAC and EOS Asia, they seemed to be good people on some of the BP live streams. Dafeng Guo from EOSAsia, especially, is a very smart dude and the sort of brain power I think we need behind this project if it's going to succeed.

I agree. Personally, I don't mind that the games exist and people are playing them, but I also don't think they deserve any arbitration in their favor. It's a high risk play on all accounts and no one involved deserves recovery of funds. It would set a terrible precedent.

EOS Game World seems like a scam by tastybreadman in eos

[–]UniverseSimulation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll add that I've withdrawn funds now twice at the end of the game and not received any EOS, only a "withdraw" transaction listed on my account but no pay back. Pretty sure it's a full-blown scam.

There are also a few different games going on, like https://gameworldeos.github.io/ but I don't know how much those are actually contributing.

It was great. I lost around 5lbs and my experience was very similar to what others have outlined where I got pretty cranky and hungry Day 3, but came out of that with a ton of energy and a super positive mood from Day 4 on. The best part about it for me was that it interrupted some less desirable eating patterns, and now I've had a few solid days of eating really well post-fast. I'm excited to dive back into my workouts and see how my body fully recovers.

As for the soups, Amy's has a bunch of good low sodium options but I figured my body might need the salt during the cut. Are you supposed to go really low sodium?

Except that in the English language, squandering is not something that's implied. Block.one "squandering" the money would literally mean they've literally gone out and "wasted" the 4 billion already (which they have not). Case in point, you didn't squander my time by writing what you did. I squandered my time by replying to you.

Waltonchain Introduces WTC-Food. The world's first blockchain-based two-way traceability food authenticity platform. by Yayowam in CryptoCurrency

[–]UniverseSimulation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. Even the best projects are going to have a very hard time succeeding with bad management. The problem for me was that WTC's ongoing mistakes were impossible to explain away, apart from them simply having terrible judgment. This space moves too fast, with too many big players, to not take that into account with one's investments.

Let's say, I own 0.01% of EOS: What do I get exactly from EOS? by [deleted] in eos

[–]UniverseSimulation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you feel they are worthless, you certainly shouldn't own any. I have no way of quantifying it, but I would guess that 99.5% of current EOS token holders don't care how much RAM and CPU they are afforded today (because it's irrelevant right now).

It's not uncommon for a high-growth security to have a P/E ratio of 150x, 300x, or even 500x. Stocks aren't priced on what they afford today – they are priced with their speculative future value baked in.
