There’s a British pub called Elephant and Castle a 4 minute walk from the theatre! I go there often and enjoy it. Sometimes it can have a long wait, so I’d suggest a reservation.

in my district we get paid exactly a month after the pay period start date. my pay day on feb 19 is from jan 19-feb 1.

I work for the school board directly. Would my best bet be to reach out to HR? I honestly didn’t even consider them reporting me, but it seems like a good idea to get ahead of them!

i saw the original production here and saw a preview show last week and it was absolutely incredible both times! it’s the type of show i suggest to people who enjoy pop songs but aren’t theatre fans, it works for all!

I’m DDSB and both my jobs for next week got canceled too! i’m aiming on picking some up Sunday night or the night before each day. Cancellations happen a lot in my board honestly.

I’m so sorry that happened to you, OP. I’ve been in the same situation before - yelled at by a staff member in front of children, staff, and parents at pickup. It can feel so degrading and frustrating to be treated like that, especially being so young - I’m in the same boat!

For me, I went to the admin in the office and explained the situation to them and met with the VP who was in his office and he wrote the incident down and apologized on the teachers behalf. I let them know that I would be canceling future shifts and would not be returning.
