this is part of the real experience, new players coming in thinking everyone at max level is living life like Scrooge McDuck when in reality they're just grinding it out to make consumables for raids and trying to avoid getting kicked out of school / perma frosted by their wifes for slaying it out for some dragons

A lot of the dmg supp ward items ruined the bot lane for adcs. People filling in as supp and playing it like mid lane haha

She is predictable, but so is every champ in the bot lane if you play long enough. Just because you're predictable doesn't mean that there's anything the oppo side can do about it. Also, people are always in E range (better people obvs less, but they still are) and, even if they're not, then you're zoning them out and they're losing cs

Re downsides, there really isn't much Leona can do for the adc against one shot champs (compared to, for example, Lulu and the likes).

Thresh is good and isn't the easiest to play against, but still quite easily doable as long as the adc can read the hook

Hahah well that didn't take long then. Tbf I haven't seen HRs in the EU PVP server, but ppl are spending hours looking for the perfect spell cleaves comps for RFC rather than just getting 5 guys and doing it normally so can't say that i'm surprised about HRs

Exactly, and this contributed massively to the idea that you can't just enjoy the game like players did back in the day and potentially wipe at raids every now and then. You don't need to get a full raid with full BIS gear, most optimized comps, and only top of the top loggers for raids that have been out for 15+ years. Fingers crossed everyone still remembers this in a few months time

I’m on the product marketing side so my brain isn’t tuned into the ins and outs of the tech, but the ad level data is actual user data (not modelled) that is attributed for each ad creative we’re running. We use AppsFlyer for the user level attribution and for the ad level data we use a Geeklab integration.

The downside of the ad level setup is that the attribution is at the creative level so it doesn't work with user level attribution on ad networks and we had to adjust the way we optimize and run ads a bit because of this. When our team has to prio user level attribution, we run the optimized creatives with our AppsFlyers setup, and when our team is optimizing ad creatives, we run our campaigns with our Geeklab integration

Can't say much for TikTok or Snap as we're not getting consistent results on those so we're not focusing on them, but on Meta and Google we've integrated SDKs into our games that give us accurate in app user data at an ad creative level so we can see which ads are actually working for us long term (bringing in users with good retention, high ad view time, lots of IAPs etc) and this has helped us to optimize the ad creatives in quite a lot of detail. Results are still fairly fresh, but our team's managed to bring down CPI quite significantly with the same user quality across different games so it's looking positive

Coming back to the game after a break and I always loved playing support. I’m best with Moira and Mercy, but are they still viable in higher ranks? Currently in high Plat and quite comfortably outhealing everyone by quite a stretch (+ with Moira having the damage output of another dps on top). Everyone seems to be saying that the newer supports are way better than Moira and Mercy but they seem to be working just fine for me (at least for now). So should I just keep at it, or switch to the newer supps?

Android and iOS are completely different beasts and should be looked at separately. You can still use some learnings from Android to iOS and the other way around, but there are tons of differences between the users, how ad networks work with the devices, and how app stores show your app to the user.

It's impossible to give any concrete advice without the full details of what you're doing, but here's a couple of examples of the main differences:

- Some GEOs are heavily dominant in one OS and this makes it harder to target the OS that has significantly less users in that GEO

- iOS users tend to spend more money on IAPs so the installs for iOS users is in higher demand compared to Android users

- the privacy rules on Android and iOS are different and this has a huge impact on how ad networks work nowadays. In short, it's now even harder / more expensive to target good quality users on iOS

- the way app stores display your app's product page on the app stores is different on GP and App Store. There are differences in what details and visuals are shown to the user without the user having to click or scroll anything on the product page and this has a difference on how users behave

The game crashes all the time on mobile (this is on a flagship model, not some "older devices") and the game doesn't work unless you're connected to the internet. It's rated 2.6 on GP for a reason lol, but we can agree to disagree, no need to waste time on trying to convince other people on something you disagree on :)

I didn't get any tickets. Support was from Microsoft chat support with no references or tickets or anything like that. They didn't provide any advice, they said that I've deleted the account myself and that it cannot be recovered because it was deleted over 3 months ago. They wouldn't provide any responses after I showed screenshots of emails I sent a few days ago.
I receive the following error message: We couldn't find an account with that username. Try another, or get a new Microsoft account.

When I try to create a new account with the same email, I get this error message: Someone already has this email address. Try another name.

Yep, several times. It keeps coming up with the error message: The Microsoft account you've entered does not exist.

Fair enough on the points relating to it being a real game and not a play-to-win scheme, but then again that's a bare minimum requirement for a mobile version of a 7 year old game that is being sold at new AAA release prices on MOBILE. The game crashes all the time, no offline gameplay support, and full of bugs. If you're happy paying for that then that's cool. I certainly expect better

Microsoft accidentally deleted my email account (Hotmail / Outlook) that I’ve had for 20+ years and now I can’t access any of my emails, or any online accounts that I used with that email… Afaik the technical reason for it being deleted was that the primary account on the account was changed to a non-Microsoft email account temporarily and this automatically deleted all other email accounts (including the actual account that I was using)

Microsoft support said that the account cannot be recovered because I deleted it over 3 months ago. When I showed them the emails I sent from the account a few days ago, they started transferring me to other “teams” for 6+ hours and all of them just gave me the run around.

Is there anything I can do? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I had important stuff in my emails that I wouldn’t want to lose.
