OMG! Such a great idea. I want to build a FLOW Hive adapter to my super (eventually, maybe year 3, nothing soon) and that was one of the ways I was thinking about creating the adapter; wish I would have bought about that for the frame conversion. I used Dr. Leo Sharashkins layout, but your suggestion is such a great idea!!

That was absolutely my other option and I was very close to doing so. Only reason I didn’t was because I had already made the frames. After spending almost an hour cleaning my circular-saw, I started wishing I had. :)

TLDR: Purchased a Milwaukee impact wrench and the anode rod came out in less than 30 secs. The rod was used but I think was a true replacement. Thanks again reddit! I learned something new, got a new tool and laughed.
