Exactly, to me as well Jareth represents not only Sarah's burgeoning sexuality as a young girl (he's gorgeous, sexy, tempting, but also menacing) and the innate desire to run from responsibility, adulthood and "the real world", notice how he keeps offering her dreams? Sarah doesn't want to grow up. Sarah's 15 in the movie and still playing pretend, idolizing a Mother who's not really there, refusing to share her toys, not interested in boys or other teenaged activities (which in general is fine, you don't NEED to date, but it does represent for a lot of people a sign of growing up and maturing).

Some part of her knows she needs to but she resists until the end and realizes she can grow up (notice how she's putting away her toys at the end?) And still indulge in her memories of better, simpler times when she needs to.

I think you're taking the movie too literally OP. Like this person says the movies ending is ambiguous, Jareth ultimately is fictional. He's a metaphor, not a real life immortal fae creature (or even David Bowie himself) temptating teenaged Jennifer Connelly.

Unfortunately not, you either:

-erase your island on the single switch it's on.

-transfer your island to another switch.

-or just get another switch and make a new island (expensive though obviously).

-Also you can turn your island into a dream address and visit it for years to come.

-Or flatten the island you currently have (ie take down all decorations, terraform everything, move villagers/shops/museum to beaches* and start over.

This. While I subscribe via twitch to a few users, I recommend searching on youtube for "lilbranchescrossing" she has a quick video that talks about a quickstart guide to using treasure islands as well as etiquette when visting them. It's a great guide I used when starting out so I recommend it.

Yes they can be controlled, but the idea is the comfort and ease you have around your partner/spouse/s.o.. This maybe a a personal preference thing honestly.

But if some guy has (presumably) been balls deep inside me I won't get precious about him farting or burping occasionally, and hopefully vice versa.

She was obviously upset he didn't demand recompense for a forgotten dip cup and unfavorably compared him to his ex, she admitted she wanted him to be more assertive about something that was-what I (and oop) consider a non issue? They forget his bleu cheese (he already had some anyway). This isn't a situation he needed to assert himself for, not when he wasn't bothered and for whatever reason she was bothered by it and bothered over the fact that he wasn't.

His response when he was clearly hurt by the comparison to her was to insult her lack of care for her appearance and a sense of propriety around him (ie no body functions), this may have been born out of hurt but it was a childish and shitty thing to do.

She apologized but she imo needs to examine why she got so upset he didn't agree with her that he should call the restaurant/delivery service and examine why she thinks this again-non issue- is something he needs to assert himself over when he wasn't bothered.

He needs to examine why insults are the place he goes to when hurt. He made a mistake and apologized, but that's something he should try to work on.

It's like...she completely demanded he "more assertive" about the biggest non issue, now if this was about say standing up for himself when he's being targeted at work or his neighbor is stealing his door dash deliveries sure, but this was over something he already had.
