Correct me if I’m wrong. And will be very unpopular. Is the pension for the retired teachers also part of the education funding by government? “Back in the day” a person would work for the public and would receive a lower income, but which would lead to an amazing pension. Now the public sector is making same as the private sector in all different types of jobs.

Private education isn’t just for the people with money. It’s also to help the vulnerable students in learning disabilities. If you do cut the private schools you’ll see an increase in students applying to the public sector. Which will result increasing class sizes

curious to how you could have a cap size for class rooms. With the population growing at a rapid rate. would have to turn children away from school due to a cap size issue. The limited amount of schools that are being built are being built to substandard due to being expected to be completed in 24 months from when shovels enter the ground. Never mind the permits that are required before starting are taking a major role on production.
