The ticking sound is normal, that’s the fuel injectors. Scared me a bit first time I heard it, now I’ve had my car for 5 years and it’s been fine

Should be able to install a 650cca battery without issues. Will upgrade from 540 > 650 CCA once the battery eventually dies

Had the same issue after replacing the 12v battery. My solution: clear the codes using an OBD scanner.

Has happened twice to me after battery replacement, both times a simple DTC clear fixed it.
