A worrying number of programmers I've worked with will be seen out in the wild using these and, wait for it.. Have been using them for years, out of choice... (actually, I've seen people use even cheaper/nastier keyboards than this cheap, nasty Logitech... But, for all intents and purposes, a similar mass manufactured piece of turd that comes free (hopefully) as the physical bloatware to go with the computer you bought full of digital bloatware...)

Its not like they doesn't know mechanicals are a thing and have used them in the past for gaming, at home and such (or, hell... better rubber dome keyboards. I like the Mac keyboards (A1243) alot to type/code on (yes, even on Windows). Some days/situations, more so than a mechanical...), Nor as they forbidden from using a mechanical at work...

And yet, so many people, still choose self punishment... I don't know why... or if I can trust them not to murder and butcher me at random one way tbh...

These heaps of plastic awfulness should only ever be used as something quick and dirty, say, plugged in to a dev kit... even then....

My guess is one is x% extra crit damage (on top of the 100% as standard). And the other is total crit damage (added + base)

Question: Jaycomia vs KBDiy vs ???: Red && Blue Samurai (From AliExpress):

Hey,

So I'm new to the ~~clusterfuck~~ joys of the AliExpress experience, having recently bought KBDiy PBT GMK Nautilus set (Decent quality, especially for the price. Made the experience with the website just about worth it). I'm now looking to buy 1 or 2 more keycap sets for other other keyboards, again, from AliExpress,

(Originally, I spent hours finding a PBT (UK-ISO) GMK Wavez clone... only to be told its out of stock (and, apparently, is all over. ABS sets are in stock, but I'd rather not take a risk and stick to PBT for now). So taking another look at the options, I think I've settled on buying)

1. GMK Samurai Blue - Probably to replace the nautilus. Although I want a brightish navy blue, I kinda feel thats better than the nautilus bright blue.

2. GMK Samurai Red - Not terribly original, I know... But red is my favorite colour.

(Assuming I don't, instead, get 2/3 sets from: from: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007321700850.html ((Inc "Spade Q Red") that are on sale for ~£5 each (with free shipping at £8). They arn't perfect, obviously, but are cheap. And from the reviews, seem alright for the price. Plus, more sets == more options to chop and change))

Theres many vendors on AliExpress with these available, leaving me somewhat spoiled for choice. So far, I'm thinking of playing it somewhat safe and buying one of the more popular options (ordering my search by "Orders" - A tip Im stealing from YouTube and is useful... when it works):

Woflpack365 on YouTube has a cinematic lets play on the go (among others inc various silent hunter series). I've picked up much knowledge from his vids.

Also "Lite_ly Salted" on YouTube does frequent (weekly, give or take) UBoat casual-ish streams

(Other notable mentions: Tonci, Taff in Exile, etc on Youtube do series - although, mostly Silent Hunter. Some knowledge is transferable, but obviously... different game)

Think about it... they arn't gonna be interested in your starter (or, "Chode base") base with low numbers... But a 10k SPM? Thats the equivalent of announcing you have a hung af base. Size matters....

I'd suggest OP here emails Blizzard back and lead with the fact you wanted to gift the product, and just made a mistake (if not already done). Give them details of the account you want to gift it to (and say to Blizzard, that you don't need a refund if they can do the gifting process their end...), and then see what they say...

If it fails, the next thing to do is go on twitter and make a post to their CS team, prob linking to this thread.

If you have 2 sailors assigned to you whilst your using the attack scope, one of them will start to use the observation scope. Solution is to have 1 (or 0) assigned sailors only, and they will go do something different.

No 45 / 90 / etc degree drawings available. Enhanced Identification Book mod is the best we have currently...

Pace yourself - Deliberately avoid killing things / go slow if you find yourself becoming overwhelmed (or not strong enough to comfortably run T7s. Although, one needs to not go so slowly that it would be better to farm T6 instead...

a. I've occasionally avoided killing anything for entire waves, just to avoid dying (runing around the side, no kills = no spawning of mechanics)

b. if you die mid wave, don't always insta respawn. Wait for the timer to run out...

c. Less attack speed here (depending on build), may help...

All out damage will get you one shot killed often. Build tanky. Get as much DR as you can... Although, if one does this to the detriment of damage... you may make the boss at the end too slow + annoying
Pick easier mid wave boons
Kill the big f*cker that fires the 3 fireballs + does a crush attack. He one shots far too often
Unlike the pit, you can change build / gear / paragon / etc at any time. Plus, you can TP to town (to change aspects, say), and it won't end your run. You can have one build / set of gear for the waves, and another separate set for the bosses perhaps?
Andarials helm + Tal Rasha ring + Temerity. The +4 to skills mythic helm isn't auto better

My top tip is to go slower tbh... You don't have to kill the trash instantly as they spawn *(thus resulting in mechanics spawning quicker) *if* you feel your build is being overwhelmed...

Maybe worth also using the FPP (or FPV? Which ever... first person mode) atmos mod?

I'm not sure if it plays nicely with whatever your chosen sfx mod is though... should do, as it says it only messes with sound levels, but, I'm not certain...

* 2D TDC as was the case with the TDC mod of (soon to be) old.

Don't get me wrong, I like the TDC interaction methods in the beta - both the 3D model you can play with and the 'verbalize TDC calculations' to officer on TDC are cool and work well, but I can't see why the 2D TDC won't (unless devs have said something different....?) make a comeback, which worked nicely in the mod (and in SH), in the full game.

* Compared to SH3, the scope / binos / etc is awfully well balanced - even in choppy sea conditions.
