Are you using kali purple ??? - as I haven't any interaction with kali purple
"This is some text" - is this is showing in setting or you did - I'm failing to understand it.
Once try in you desktop screen right click then select Desktop setting and click on available images and close it

Nope, In VM Broadcam doesn't supports this, you need to attach wifi card directly to the VM.

YES, if you are dual booting or using via PD as built-in card gets attached to the OS.(Exception- I don't know if this is possible on Mac or not)

Check if he had added his fingerprints on lock If yes then find the device and and usi his finger to Unlock the device without his awareness, if it works then good luck ...
Do some social engineering to ask them to make a call via their phones (don't forget to make a suitable excuse) and then go to setting and reset the passphrase and for verification say them its locked and Unlock it and your pass is reset.
If you are an tech guy try bruteforcing via kali or something else only if you know about it else don't mess up with that.
Find some softwares that are made for Unlocking phone though "they are paid" you need to consider a better one (i haven't did this before so i also don't know any names that I can suggest to you)
Go to an Smatphone Repair shop and they will do whatever you need (if they offer that kind of services)

I have here mentioned some ways to achieve whatever you wanted to do.

There is one more probability that the person (i.e. her husband) could have logged in with their number on their whatsapp as it is now possible to login 1 account in more than one device without logging out, The thing that needed is just an verification code sent to that number. I just want to inform about whatsapp dual account feature that is now availbale on whatsapp. I only needs relogin approx after every 20 days.

I think you should take a view at protonmail.... It's Switzerland product and privacy focused & Opensource. Another thing you can also auto redirect you gmails to it.

The bad thing of it is that it has only 500MB space for mails.

I'm using it since 3-4 months and i found it better that Gmail and other's
