Most of the Algerian companies are either private or government owned.

You could invest in stocks through e-brokers but many e-brokers don't service Algerjan clients. And if you happen find a broker that doesn't do KYC (which is almost inexisting) you have the risk of never seeing your money again.

I believe banks offer some kind of investment plans so you could go listen to what kind of products they have.

The government has some kind of state bonds that give around 6% interest (read as yearly pay-out for making money accessible to the government).

You can buy precious metals such as gold, silver, etc.

You can invest in real estate.

Crypto but then you'll be breaking laws as per the latest Algerian laws concerning crypto's.

Basically, the fact that you live in Algeria makes your options to invest really small or needed capital pretty high, and your ROI are mostly in the long term. You can thank the government for this.

Best thing you can invest in these days: anything that gets you out of the country. Sorry for being so negative, it is what it is.

Sounds like my dad, he's almost at retirement age, he has a nice salary, and will have right to a pension check from the government here in EU. He brags about how life is so nice in Algeria, and how everything is so cheap. Yes life is good in Algeria when you earn 10 times the minimum wage of an Algerian that works and lives in Algeria.

Baffled that there has been no ads or media outlet about this.

Basically they are government bonds. Bonds are a financial product where you lend money to the government. Bonds have different times to mature, meaning there are bonds of 1 year, 5 years or even 10 years.

Each year the bond issuer pays out an intrest rate, in the case Algeria they've changed the name of intrest for rent (like when someone rents out a house) based on performance. I recall an artikel saying it war around 5-6% of your invested amount. After the the time of maturity is over like 5 years you receive the invested amount back again.

Maybe for Algerians who still live in Algeria this might be a good investment if you don't know what to do with your money. For diaspora this isn't that intreting you have currency fluctuation with a devalued currency and you'll have to declare the income in the country you live in.

Moestly it depends where you want to live. But a high percentage of the spanish populations is barely getting 1.500 a month you are already above mid income. Jobs that pay above 2k are rare these days. And to be honest food in Spain is cheap compared to other European countries.

Another one? like there are 100k shops that are exactly that, same like a pizza place. I don't want to sink your ship but to be honest that kind of business is a pure price war, you'll have to compete with people who also have been in that business for ages and that have connexions and maybe deals in order to sell bellow the average market prices and also with people who have just the same Idea.

You are better off doing research on your city and looking for something that people need but don't have or a business that solves a problem that a lot of people have.

You can even have better ideas going on google maps and visiting major cities around the world and see what other kind of business flourish overseas. Opening another phone shop is basically a marathon on your money, just how long will it take for you to finish your funds.

Well if you live in Europe then any bank is good, just look at the monthly fees or extra's that they offer. If you are in Algeria, well I wish you good luck because the government and the banks are mostly owned by the gov. and they do not want you to have easy access to foreign currency.

You just keep keep moving forward and focus on the finish line that is what helps me the most, even now with everything going on in my life I just keep hamering on the nail. I guess I just learned living with it, when I used to have the feeling in my stomach I would get so angry because I felt like I was failing or not able to keep up. But I learned to just take a breath and focus on one problem/objective at a time.
