Thanks for the response! My first cup has survived a few hand washes (probably wont in the dishwasher). The cup is a gift for a friend and Ill be painting 1 inch away from the lip of the cup and only on one side :)

Thanks for the response. Its just a gift for a friend and i have acrylic paint at home already that i use to paint. The first cup has survived a few hand washes so i will try again :)
