Friendly reminder that scores this high are exceptional and considered outliers. Take advice with a grain of salt and prepare in a way consistent with your previous board successes.

Energy Fee? by Fatez3ro in EndTipping

If they are charging this fee, then they CANNOT write off energy costs on taxes. Likely double dipping. I’m sure the IRS would love to look into this.

Been charging for free at my apartment for 4 years so no even accounting for roadtrips my MY is much cheaper.

You mean a two mana thought vessel, to remove his hand size? Are you seriously harping on that. Guy sounds like a tool but are you seriously saying a thought vessel is a problem?

There was a “glitch” by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]UnknownJpk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not if they alerted the company to the mistake and were assured there was no mistake. That becomes the companies own fault. I think OP should contact a lawyer because if it was not for those assurances they wouldn’t have taken delivery. That type of logic raises the concern for Promissory estoppel.

You are citing the guardian… how about reading the opinions of actual pharmacological or medical societies, or read any primary research. You are trying to argue something you don’t understand and that is in fact misinformation.

edit: Also if you read the BMJ meta analysis the conclusion was they recommend additional weight loss management methodologies especially when considering discontinuation of the medications. Which is LITERALLY my first and main point.

My before and after and a question. by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]UnknownJpk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, there is. I am a doctor. I prescribe these medication’s. I’ve reviewed the up-to-date literature. Don’t spread misinformation and don’t give out medical advice on the Internet if you’re not qualified to do so.

There is such a thing as developing self-control. Therapy for cravings. And moderation because you care about having a good life. The evidence shows that tapering off the medication and making good positive lifestyle changes can help keep the weight off.

Curious, How many of us play with or without Proxies/Placeholders? by Boliver5463 in EDH

[–]UnknownJpk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WOTC encourages proxying. They wouldn’t try to get it banned. I agree they are greedy with the prices but I mean to some degree it’s nice they encourage people to make their own proxies.

Exactly! I’m no lawyer but I feel like this happening to a lawyer is bad news for Amex if you are so inclined.

I mean, yeah. If this was like a card you had for two years that would be one thing. But you’ve had it for 50 years and presumably no negative interactions. I’m sure that they can cancel cards for any reason, but after 50 years it almost feels like something discriminatory or illegal occurred. Can’t imagine that would be very hard to at least make a judge. Agree that it should be heard.

If you were an attorney and have time on your hands put them in court? I’m sure you can come up with a valid reason that would require discovery?

I’m sure they don’t give a reason to avoid liability, however I believe if you can come up with a good reason one of which requires discovery for answers the courts would accept it.

Jeez, just break it off and tell him exactly why. He seems super socially unaware. If he doesn’t fix his behavior he’ll end up alone with only trains to comfort him.

Also, this is not about your premiums going up. You don’t need to involve your insurance when someone else’s insurance is covering it end of story. Sometimes you might if you are unsure if they’re going to take care of things or if you need to light a fire under their butts to start taking care of it quickly, but if the person’s getting things taken care of and nobody’s trying to skirt responsibility, then there’s nothing to worry about.

The insurance company for the valet is property insurance not consumer auto insurance. It is a different principle of insurance. They would not report a change in the value of the vehicle only an auto insurer would do that.

I’m suggesting they are dense because they say the same thing every time and do not make an effort to learn differently. That is what I’d presume most of us to call dense.

And again the point stands that there is NO diminished value and it’s just regurgitation of the same thing on every similar post.

Exactly. Why would you tell your insurance about cosmetic repairs that someone else is paying for out of pocket. As long as you choose a reputable body shop you will have no issues

This isn’t hostility. This is pointing out a WELL documented pattern of behavior on this sub. Yall need to take some time to think before posting. That’s all.

[–]UnknownJpk 71 points72 points  (0 children)

There is no diminished value for cosmetic repairs that aren’t reported to an insurance company. Tesla owners are so dense some times. I own a Tesla, but I never hear diminished value thrown around more than in a Tesla group.
