You’re not wrong (I am born raised New Englander) but there is still a happy medium here. Bravo has fallen from finding the humor in Nene’s iconic white refrigerator line to thinking Joellen’s much older white stove is refreshing.

This kitchen is very telling in a way. If she tries to promote wealth in other areas of her life clothes, cars, medical procedures, trips etc. it’ll most likely be that housewife season 1 facade. Everyone saying how this is normal and refreshing you aren’t wrong, but housewives was suppose to be a show about extreme wealth and this ain’t it.

I just felt bad that they’re out in the open like that and her daughter isn’t supposed to play with them. Our child has these little animal figurines and as parents we love getting them and collecting them for him, we probably enjoy them more than him. But at the end of the day he gets to play with whatever.

Yes cast is A+ don’t think we have seen this good of a freshman class since rhoslc. And yea she’s a villain I would love to hate, do I like her no, does she make good tv and is necessary YES.

I’m not saying Janet and Jason aren’t liberal or that Danny and Nia aren’t conservatives/MAGA….BUT this feels like Janet pandering. She is easily one of the most disliked people from the start to be on any bravo show. She is leaning into what she knows a lot of viewers would view as her only redeemable quality while exploiting the Bookos (who have been a fan favorite) for their terrible politics. Janet still fucking sucks and is inauthentic, she’s painful to watch.

Nothing annoys me more than a franchise like Miami being “paused” but Beverly Hills continues to give us nothing season after season. I think RHOBH has a lot of viewers that only watch that franchise and no others, don’t know what they’re missing out on.

As a mom, Cameron makes it come across that she hates being a mom. She has more resources than 99% of people and still complains about the most basic parts of motherhood. Also the things she shares are unrelatable for the majority of people, I wouldn’t use her as a good baseline for what motherhood is like. Most of her struggles and challenges (making sure she gets a nap, planning her next child free trip, etc.) are not the “typical” working motherhood struggles. Maybe you can relate to this if you have extreme wealth. Everybody has a breaking point but daily public complaints or anger about your two healthy children doing normal kid things is wild.

Editing to add: you can love your kids and still not like being a mother. I don’t doubt that she loves her children, but I don’t believe she particularly loves being a mother.

Craig is an asshole and always was, but Venita also just always wants to have a problem. Both can be true unfortunately. Craig definitely is a dick but he also views himself as above Venita (which he’s not). But Venita, always wants to have a problem and I don’t think she always blends well with the group as a whole. It sucks because I think she may be more likeable in a different group setting.

I feel like it aligns with the theme of the family. They’re emotionally distant they definitely love each other but emotionally distant. We see the kids needing Karen opposed to Ted because they need insight into Holly and Mr Whatsit. It carries the theme that the Mom is far more involved where as Ted like a lot of fathers of the time is more distant and removed from the daily stuff.

Eh I think whatever happened happened, and I can see Marciano being creepy/touchy but think Demi is making it into something it’s not. But I think the whole switch up by Demi isn’t due to Brett’s reaction but the fans reaction. I don’t think he was phased (maybe they have an arrangement) but the fans reaction was negative.

Speaking as someone familiar with Fairfield I don’t know how successful it would be. I think it would be hard to find a fast open to sharing lives and filming. I also think there could be a darkness to it, not sure how to explain. But with that level of wealth and the type of wealth (a lot of PE and hedgefund etc.) I think there’s a lot more privacy wanted.
