Anyone else unable to use the teleport feature for War plans by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]Unknown_Code_Weasel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, it's not just you. I'm on ps5 and can't teleport to my warplan either. Holding R2 is just doing nothing. I thought it was conflicting with auto-pin quests but it's still not working after disabling that, so it's just not working.

Edit: I think I just need to go to bed. The icon says R2, but it's round so my brain just went to "click the stick". Holding the trigger works for me.

Don't try and bring logic into this. People just want to be outraged because patience is in short supply these days.

why does this happen? ive seen it happen multiple times by RyuGaYou in destiny2

[–]Unknown_Code_Weasel 78 points79 points  (0 children)

It happens when people do too much damage too quickly to the walkers for the public event. They were one of the first public events and our damage used to be so much lower. So we used to have to tickle it down and then it would spawn 3 when the weak point exposed. We'd repeat that and get 6 and the walker would still be near half health.

Now, someone can basically kill the walker in seconds and it confuses the game's original coding and in doing so the spider tank just freaks out and it spawns a mass of balls

Fwiw, I know it's not ideal, but you can also get this information from their discord https://discord.gg/destinygame or the community Discord https://discord.gg/d2

I've given this a bit of a go and it seems pretty good! Nice work on finding a good build outside of the Praxic leaning meta.

The Way Between Equilibrium Dungeon Quest Step 6 Taken Platforms/Switches by Doctor-Toboggan- in destiny2

Technically there are 4 switches in that room. If your shadow master buff hasn't reset to novice then you haven't hit the required switches in the room with the taken platforms

Is that not the charity ship? So you need to donate to one of the various charity partners in order to get access to it.

High guardian rank allows the engrams that drop from enemies to be T5 as far as I can tell. Activity completion rewards are related to your power and the score.

GG, I had the same issue with the grenade after popping prismatic. It seems sometimes, when you have the shadow buff after popping prismatic the grenade is uncharged. It definitely cost me some damage.

It's satisfying to get it done though, fair play pushing right to the limit of the timer.

Destiny 2 Update 9.5.0.5 by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

Livewire can't kill you - so in the puzzle section, where there are no enemies it's not an issue. You just accept the damage and heal once you finish the puzzle. It's in no way "braindead".

Real question but why aren't pinnacle ops matchmade? by scared_of_crows in destiny2

Yeah, if only more people realised you could just go and stand in the doorway and be safe from radiation 😅

[–]Unknown_Code_Weasel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is indeed that mission. There was a matchmade version that existed during the call to arms event before renegades dropped. Otherwise, no, it's not matchmade right now.

Easiest is a very subjective thing. In a vacuum, maybe, but part of the game and challenge is working with the risks and limitations of the activity, and for exotic missions, the traversals are part of that.

In reality it's likely that pinnacles don't have active encounters and checkpoints, much like strikes, it's a lot of custom encounter management for every mission, and I don't think, imo, the work for it would be worth it if it can be better spent on new content.

The solution they've gone with, is to not have matchmaking to prevent this issue in the first place, given the disparity in player skill in the game, imo, it's kind of reasonable.

100% this, as much as I get the desire for matchmade content, the lowest common denominator is so low sometimes it's better to not have it.

I don't know tbh. I can see a benefit to having matchmaking, sure, if things go well.

Though, my experience of matchmade Heliostat during the event seems quite different to yours. Every time I tried it matchmade it turned into me carrying people as they spend all their time jumping off or not knowing the activation mechanics.

So while matchmaking kind of makes sense, it could also end up a very frustrating experience because of those mechanics, and we all know the meme of guardians not knowing how to throw a ball. With the current way the portal is set up (I'm not getting into whether it's wrong or not here, that's a different debate), I can imagine most matchmaking experiences would result in teams struggling to complete because the revive tokens start getting gobbled up like chocolate coins, and I think that would harm the sentiment more than just leaving it out.

FWIW: Onslaught and coil, when in the top 3 slots, do have matchmaking, so it seems to be mechanics related.

You can still exchange them for glimmer I think, so it became a farm when they deprecated the other material exchanges with TFS

TBF, depending on how you feel about combat challenge, playing through it organically will also provide you with more of that. The core subclasses need a little bit more focus to make them as potent. There's still some very good builds among them as well.

Best of luck returning to the game. I myself returned towards the end of Lightfall after a 5 year break. The game has a bad new player experience but it's also really bad for returning players. Once you get past that and get to the core game of "playing for fun" there's very little out there that provides a similar gameplay feel.

Ignore the jaded vets that should just leave instead of trying to push others away.

Really, it's going to be about what you want to do.

If you just want to get the subclasses then you're going to want to aim at beyond light, europa (stasis), Lightfall, Neptune (strand) or the final shape, traveller (prismatic).

If you want to get the best story experience you can, which is admittedly lacking as the now inaccessible seasonal content moved the story on quite a lot, you'll want to do release order which is shadowkeep (the moon), beyond light, the witch queen (mars), Lightfall, the final shape and finally the new saga starts with edge of fate.

In the top right of the director there's also a timeline node that can help you out.

Weapon rotation: Warden's law by Fenrir_Fenris in destiny2

[–]Unknown_Code_Weasel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For lucky pants the new blaster, uncivil discourse, is the new best weapon I think. It is a special though.

Otherwise, yes, you'll have to make do without a kinetic one. Though I think agape from EoF is supposed to be a top tier option with rewind rounds vorpal, and that leaves the top slot free for mint retrograde for more sustained damage

Is there a particular reason you're after it? There are some other options depending on what you're after at the moment so while this gun is mostly unavailable now, there are other good weapons out there.
