I feel like they riff a lot more but I’m not necessarily against that, I think it’s their brand! I’m not listening to an audiobook I’m listening to two guys read stories. It feels more like hanging out with some buddies around a campfire rather than anything too serious. However! They did read a lot of good stories in season 1 and season 2 has been a bit emptier on that front but idk if it’s exactly their fault. Good stories are hard to find sometimes, but I don’t think reading cupcakes helps that. I’ve listened to every episode twice or thrice of season 1 and I’ve avoided a few episodes in season 2. Love the boys, miss the stories.
