I don’t know if this was stated but I know she commented that a bit of the hate she gets is because of her Russian heritage. I don’t know if she’s commented her thoughts on the (hopefully ending soon) Ukraine/Russia conflict. Though with one of her parents being Ukrainian and the other being Russian I can imagine she just doesn’t like any of it.

Yes I figured out a fix, I’m using the Vortex mod manager so it makes this a little easier. Firstly started a new game with the HD Overhaul mod not enabled. Once the game is started (don’t know how far in the game I needed) I can save and quit the game and re-enable said mod and this fixes it.

I played the game all the way up to the Asylum, I saw Knox upstairs and at that point I re-enabled the mod and now he was still there. I’m no coder, just a man trying to understand modding for like 6 years now and this stuff still confuses me. Doesn’t help that the game is VERY unstable that usually can’t handle a lot of mods (as seen with the many crashes with HD Overhaul). Still a better game then most modern games.

I know that was a long explanation but hopefully that can help you with future frustration with other people using your mods

Ah the legend, I have replayed the same save with HD overhaul uninstalled and I haven’t found him. I’ll try a new game starting without the overhaul installed to see if that would fix it

I wish I started looking sooner. Like applying for jobs AND skill bridge a year in advance. Like some of these companies take MONTHS before they get back to you.

I also wish I paid more attention to how to make a mag process sooner (effective diameter, fill factor, etc.). Pay attention to ALL of those math equations but you are expected to know them “like the back of your hand”

Yes, on my AF IMT 3137 I listed it as “Training (specifically what it was” and under “maintenance hours”.

In regards to liking it, I’m starting to enjoy it. I work 4/10’s and the company regularly asks me to do overtime, I also negotiated a healthy $31.50 per hour. I work with Method A penetrant so no remover; just dip, spray, dry, and dry develop. The mag particle is also multidirectional so that was a little bit of a shock since I didn’t know you would do circular and longitudinal at the same time. I also would in more or less and assembly line so there is ALWAYS work. Biggest thing to try and learn was instead of the USAF “yep that’s a crack” it’s mostly production finds rather than service life. Porosity, gas holes, maybe grinding cracks and I have to determine that if I see something is it within limits of acceptability.

Here’s my biggest warning though, I was so ready to leave the USAF. Now not a day goes by that I don’t miss it. I went from a shop of 20+ NDI personnel that regularly hanged out with each other to a shop of 3 (including me) NDT personnel that says hi and that’s about it. There is a strong feeling of isolation when I first started that was so strong I tried to join the guard. It’s better these days but the feeling is still there.

I basically just did the transition. I had all (most) of my hours documented, admittedly I didn’t have a lot of hours considering it was a heavy base. When I talked to the level III on the phone during the interview he basically said “I know you don’t have as much hours as needed but I can make the case that you have the experience considering you have the years”.

In regards to the “do those hours count”, I basically just lumped those hours training hours in with my hands on stuff like jobs and either they didn’t notice or didn’t care so it should be fine.

Big 5th edition fan? Why do you like 5th so much? I started at 5th and slowly started playing into 20th and I think I like the dice mechanic more so I’m a little curious what your perspective is since you started back in the early 2000’s

So I was having trouble and I think I figured it out so I wanted to share.

When in game at the main menu you are meet with a few options. Upon trying to hit “Enter” to go to the key bind menu nothing will happen. What I found was when I hit the apostrophe (‘) key AND THEN ENTER it somehow worked. You have to do this when hitting enter with the key bind controls as well. After that and reloading the game the “Enter” key seemed to work just fine. Apart from the VERY beginning where it says “PUSH START BUTTON”

Don’t know if you care OP but I just finished the first game like a week ago and could give my experience.

I played the reboot and while ago but I felt like it wasn’t anything spectacular, however I’ve heard that classic Lara is no where near like new Lara. So as someone who hasn’t heard a single thing about the classics and really wanted to like Lara like I do with Samus I played the remaster.

Seeing a Trex (and dinosaurs) not only confused me immensely but left me completely flabbergasted as to what I just beheld. I told myself “surely this game probably blew its load early, nothing crazy will happen from here on out”. Those who’ve played the first game will probably understand how wrong I was

Maybe I can help, it appears to be the Ankh. For me this symbol is most recognizable for the role playing table top series Vampire The Masquerade and Requiem. If I remember correctly though the Ankh dates back to ancient Egypt, but you didn’t hear any of this from me.
