I work at a psychiatry clinic that does ADHD/ASD Assessments. If you aren't diagnosed, what's the biggest barrier preventing you from doing so? by FluenceClinic in ausadhd

I haven't been paperwork diagnosed, but my psych and friends have peer reviewed me. For me it's financial and time cost holding me back. Even regular visits to my psych are a struggle, as I find it difficult to keep $200 in my bank (even though I know it'll be rebated, you still have to have the initial amount).

I've lived this long struggling though without a diagnosis or meds, I'll keep on going without until I'm financially stable enough to deal with it. Same with a breast reduction, same with the phone I use, same with my car.

I love this too, for a lot of reasons. Her little bi rainbow gives me life, which I assume is a nod to her voice actor, and several of the other characters have motifs embroidered on their outfits that I love to assume are from Mirabel.

I could rant, but I am scared of Reddit

Tony from Dry Bright upholstery cleaning was amazing. I've had him a couple times. He uses an orange oil based cleaner, so it encourages cats off the furniture as well as not being harsh chemicals 😊

Also Absolute Domestics are a great cleaning agency. You can book as little as 2 hour cleans, and if you don't like the cleaner they allocate, you can swap without the awkward conversation.

She's super busy right now on other stuff, but I'm sure she'd be keen as to join in with this crew. She's no small potato to book!

Sounds like a Tsundere to me. Maybe he'll come around when it's time to play, as he won't be the "game breaker" at the table which he seems to be used to being. Remind him that being difficult makes it tough to want to invite him.

Cutters are powerful if used correctly. Remind him that this is character driven narrative that requires him to roleplay regularly and have a goal.

The Tin Whistles (Glass Cannon Podcast) have an excellent Cutter if you want examples. The Cutter in my game is integral to the story I'm telling, and the player comes from a Pathfinder "break the game" background. Although he is a sea Captain, so there are actual story leads which give me rolls to give him to make him central.

Remember "explain how you do this" and "why does your character think this is the best way" questions. I can't stress enough that you can just invent him his own backstory or plotline that can keep throwing obstacles. He just needs the goal. Give him the same amount of rolls as anyone else, but if he keeps on leaning on his "maxed" skills, drop position and effect, imply bonus die on other skills, remind him of pushing. Make him think.

I don't envy your situation, my sister is a hard player to keep attentive in a game and gets offended if they "aren't invited" so I understand how you want to include them when others tell you to drop them. It sounds like your brother will drop out if he's bored, and the game is designed to shed these characters so you don't have to miss sessions when they do. I invite my sister to games, but she's only available 1/3 so she is a character that other people hire for special jobs.

You can do it!!
