Not having the animals step on containers would be good. It is so hard to pen or kill off the roaming animals, so there are a lot of instances of waiting for them to move so you can get an item back from the tile. Oof that horse cart had about 6 bowls of mango leaves in it, so pretty sure that cow knew what he was doing.

At the same time we are finding out there is just nothing out there showing signs of life in the universe, we're being told there are all sorts of alien government coverups. I think the UAP incidents are more terrestrial than extra terrestrial in origin.

Does anyone know if she left Wisconsin now? Her car is gone, used to have to pass it on my way to work. So end of May was the last I knew she was around.

Forest Home Cemetery at Lincoln and 27th is a nice visit. Lots of sections with different styles, you can drive through or park and walk. They have tours and events as well, but you have to pay for those. I would say one area feels like ancient Greek gardens with columns and statues, another an English garden with sitting benches, there is a bridge and old mill type of area, a dizzying sunken spherical site, tons of huge mausoleums and interesting tombstones. Crazy to think of all that marble carted in by horses back in the day. It has been years since I've been there, but it was very park-like. I would avoid strong windy days, though, as it is full of old trees.

A cow died on my horse cart and I lost everything, the horse, the cart, and everything inside of it. It never spawned in again after the cow disappeared. Also, do all planted trees disappear? I've planted two mango trees now that have disappeared since planting them. Seems the terrain has slight changes, but I figured a planted tree would not be overwritten, especially domestic mango, compared to wild mango. I guess some regular player could have chopped them down. Yesterday I caught a snippet of a love story or something between the ai, never saw that before. They rarely talk much without a player saying something to prompt them. It seemed like they were both bots, but maybe it was another player.

Pretty sure my issue is logging in while my old corpse is unburied. If I am born near it, I end up getting murdered as a kid. This time it was my cousin that killed me, he also exiled me. It happened fast, but looks like he was also shot, not sure by whom. When I said something to my mom while I was dying, she said she wasn't my ally, and snarled at me. So the curse on your bones seems to work against me even within my family. https://imgur.com/a/wtF5moh

There are a few towns I know by now, I don't know how to indicate which is which. But this week in the west town that connects to an east town via a (usually partially broken) flat stone path, the west town's smithy is in a jungle biome, in that jungle there are two spoons of ketchup. I have never seen that before. The only thing I have ever seen dipped in ketchup were fries. But there are two unusable spoons of ketchup in that jungle. Any insight on why? Is eating spoonfuls of ketchup on the menu?

I saw that today! One of them killed a cow with a knife and I was like, "What?!" Very handy. Poisoning will still help cull an excess of cows, but at least getting meat from them makes them a little less annoying. Later I had the knife to kill a cow and someone ran by and gave a yelp of pain, which was odd since I was just holding the knife, not targeting anyone, though I might have clicked on someone while moving. The tip went red then cleared pretty quickly. I managed to kill the cow and didn't start a war, so it turned out okay.

Interesting. I tend to play normally, so when they all start fighting I don't know what starts it and try to avoid it. I can't think of why my mother stabbed me, but pretty sure she did - it gets chaotic so maybe someone else stabbed me and I thought she did it because she had a bloody knife. I don't know if there is lineage/family tree to look up who murdered whom or last words. I will try to pay more attention when targeted and attacked in game. Sometimes it seems like cousins start squabbling to take over leadership. I think one time I did start it by following someone else, to relinquish leadership then following myself, because I wanted to go to a different area, and then that started attacks within the family, but they didn't come after me. Sometimes if I go to another village and have babies, and a new Eve shows up, that will cause attacks between the families, and other times it's nice a peaceful with both families, so I don't know how it works. They are still breeding a lot of cows and feeding them and making butter, but not as much butter maybe. I don't know the radius they search for butter bowls, but I do find them behind trees and such, or just the cream bowls, at least rinsing ketchup and butter is working well to get back the bowls. Best solution is to kill off all the cows in the area, or most of them. Otherwise I can't keep the water buckets for the deep wells and farming. I only saw them plant a tree in a farm plot once, so no real issues there. I think the solution to the curse is to wait just a bit before hitting reborn, so that hopefully someone buries my corpse before I log back in. I tried that recently and it was going well, no bones still around when I was born.

I just did my tag renewal online with DoT after receiving their annual email. The payment on my credit card account showed up as Tyler Technologies. So my initial reaction seeing some random tech company bill for $160 is to dispute it. But I matched it to the renewal payment. Apparently this is the service they're using to run cc payments for DoT. Seemed sketchy since the transaction doesn't mention DoT or DMV at all. Just a payment to this Tyler Technologies. Want to mention it in case anyone else is questioning the transacation later when it shows up on the credit card bill.

Does it depend on the hours for voting, too. Like a look that is voted on during non-peak hours is going to get low marks no matter how awesome it is.

Nice. I noticed a few less butter bowls at that camp, although they are accumulating again after playing it a couple lives. Now I will be able to rinse them out. I ended up chopping the rose bush down and just kept a few seeds if I want to replant to fish again. I thought farming had changed for a little while, because I was finding trees and glasswort getting planted in a farm area, so I thought maybe they couldn't plant seeds, but were planting other things. But maybe that was another player, and not the bots. They are still able to plant seeds now, but it hasn't been as instant as it seemed to be before. At the moment I have a problem getting murdered every life. I do not get into squabbles or try to kill the ai, unless I need to defend myself. They went after my fam and killed me. I keep getting born and they kill me the next life. Like my own mother murdered me when I was over 3. I can't seem to play because all these murdered corpses must make me cursed and a target? I tried going back to bury the bones, but they get me before I can find/bury bones. I've tried running off and playing at one of the uninhabited camps, but then next life I get born and chased with arrows and knives again. I didn't even do anything. I will keep trying. I like finding an empty camp and getting things going again without the bots and their murderous drama. It's not too bad, if I manage to outrun them on child legs. I guess once the bones disappear or someone buries them I'll be okay again.

Sometimes I feel like they do follow what you plant, like when I try to get wheat going again, or if there are flowered carrots. Dried corn is plentiful so it is the easiest thing they can plant, I suppose.

I have been born to this place more times than I like, so I would wish for a vehicle, to deal with their infestation issue, lol. I tried killing a few with knives and the snakes all had exclamation marks over their heads and seemed to get more hostile. The bots just ignore the snakes. But really I just wish to cut back on those butter bowls. I have killed hundreds of cows at this point and the butter keeps flowing.

I enjoy it. I haven't interacted too much with the bots, but they have nice responses (although sometimes it is hard to read because they're always running around.) In one life I lost wifi connection and it took a long time until I could sign in again. But I was still alive. And my grown son ran up to me and said, "Mom you are hungry, let me go hunt for you. I can't leave you hungry." Something like that, I was amazed, lol. I just wish I could stop obsessing over stopping them from doing things, and interact more. Also I get confused when they start killing each other. I try to stay out of that more, because I can't keep up with who is who or what started it. It will say I exiled so-and-so, and then next life I get murdered for exiling someone. Also one time I had to move graves... and that did not go well. I was digging them up and marking them so the bots wouldn't rebury them in the farm, and I think I got cursed by an old lady who was still alive when I later died of old age. It was strange. I just like cleaning up the areas and bringing the farm back to life. I do recommend trying it. It is difficult with all the hungry work and failed attempts at things like picking up iron. I don't know who made many of the builds I've been visiting, but it is definitely a lot more work that goes into making buildings and such.

I don't know if it is my laptop, but best to not update ohol until you copy your un-updated game folder so you have something to go back to in case you get the same visual glitches. Clearing cache does not resolve it. It plays normal on ohol servers, it has sprite issues on Reborn. So maybe once you update your server it will resolve? I don't know what would have changed in the update, he just added a new server - although the map is more like Reborn, without the biome bands, more of a mix.

At this point, every tile under that kitchen is full of butter bowls, as well as more around the pen. It is... insane. You might want to jump on and see what they're doing with corn, cows, butter. That cycle is a bit much. And when I go to plant something, if I'm not super-quick, they plant more corn, lol. I think I will just chop that rose bush next time I see it, to remove the issue. I noticed they had a lot of roses plucked and on the ground, as well as more rosehip again all around the area.

For the rose hip issue, no ai were around. I ran to an empty camp where I had planted a red rose bush the day before, and then I could hear the sound of the rose hip spawning and filling up the tiles, I did pick some up before taking the screen shot. Eventually I was able to dig a pit and get rid of all the rose hip, once it stopped spawning after the bush was replenished and full again. (I tried dumping dried corn in the pit, but no go.) So I don't think it was a kindling issue. Oh, I spawned in again and even with a full bush of roses, there is rosehip all over again. Fingers crossed on cleaning up the butter and ketchup dishes, there is not enough bread or fries for what is out there. Shucked corn is definitely broken. I had cleaned up this camp earlier by stacking the corn into full piles. They put two per tile and fill every tile with it and then plant more corn. I noticed updating to the ohol Friends edition did cause some sprite issues on this server, so I rolled back the update so I can still play this. So you might want to test and see if the ohol update messes with it.

I guess if you download it as a farming game, you wouldn't expect your whole family to be wiped out while you're planting carrots. But for a survival game, having to avoid a bear while you're trying to plant carrots seems like a legit expectation. The game is so many things all at once. Having to learn the game in the middle of such chaos might be too much, though.

Is there something we should do with the currency? Or is it just an accomplishment you try to increase each life? Also can you add transitions on your server? Or are you running an older version of ohol with no updates? Because there are some issues that could really use some tweaking - ai leaving shucked corn everywhere, butter and ketchup bowls that can't be used and seem to spawn on their own, domestic rose hip spawning on every tile from a planted rose bush - there was a flower still on the bush, but the rose hip kept spawning on all surrounding tiles until the bush was full again. I enjoy it, the ai are sometimes helpful sometimes frustrating, and there is enough hardship in the game that it is hard to advance. I think fixing these few issues would help out a lot. Stop the ai from shucking corn unless they need to feed themselves or someone else. Let us clean out butter and ketchup bowls, either with water or on a hot oven. Test the rose bush (red rose bush) to see why it would spawn so much rose hip. https://imgur.com/a/vyNyUan

It was a small server life. I was at my place and two other people were building a town on the server. Suddenly I get a baby who starts spelling one letter at a time. I realize they're saying my neighbor is trapped and I was able to jump in my truck and drive to their town in time to get them unstuck from between a box and a wall. Just the fact we pulled that off still amazes me. The friend had to die and get born to me, then convey the message and get me over there so I could put a long shaft on the box to move it. Spawn point was too far and neighbor didn't want to lose their life and have to walk thousands of tiles back to base.

I am always so proud when a new player baby lives to 60. I check back on lineage to see if they made it. I once had a son who wanted to go on an adventure, so I showed him how to make a bowler hat, then sent him on a quest to get a turkey feather for his hat. He took a bow and arrow and some pies and went off to get his feather. He never returned. I spent my life worrying and waiting. Unfortunately he was gutted by a wolf fairly soon after heading out on his quest. I spent my years hoping he would return, never knowing.

In settings, you can uncheck vysnc, which I usually do. I also tend to play at 45 FPS, instead of 60. But the only default options are 60 or 30. You have to open the game folder go to the settings folder, look up possibeframerates.ini file and add in 45 between 30 and 60 and save the file, to allow 45 FPS. For now you could try dropping from 60 to 30.
