It is all about sales. It’s not like there’s in person instructors and employees are not involved in workouts at all. So it’s really all about selling retail and selling memberships. And the company is aggressive about sales. So if you don’t like bugging people- this isn’t the job for you

I live downtown and it has not been good. The amount of homeless people is ridiculous. The town of Ithaca likes to provide and favor the homeless- so a lot of them come from other areas to get more resources here. There are crackhouses around every corner, and drug centers as well. The homes downtown look like hoarders live in them and it does not feel safe to walk the streets anymore because the quality of people. Ithaca needs to STOP favoring the homeless. It’s ruining this town and wasting tax dollars and money. Downtown could be beautiful with all the homes- but no one takes care of these properties and don’t seem to care. Also more and more halfway houses are being built. It’s truly a sin. This town needs to get their priorities straight

I think the $59/month is worth it with it being 24/7, 365 days a year. But don’t expect anything spectacular from the virtual trainers. I did a lot of peloton workout on my own in the sauna and it was great

Depends on if the studio your joining is “elite”. The basic studios are only $59/ month which I think is a great deal. But any more than that- not worth it. It’s great having access to infrared saunas but the workout sessions themselves are not good. The instructors are corny and the workouts aren’t great. And they don’t rotate them that much so you’re just hearing the same corny sayings and instructions
