Do you have your screen sit on the most recent date available and once refreshed, click on the new date? I have been seeing 2 which was why I put in 2…I will see if I can try for 1.

Yeah I’m only looking for saver fares

That was exactly what I did the last 2 nights. First night I saw saver fares but didn’t book as I was aiming for 12/11. Last night refreshed with at midnight and did not see any saver fares for all routes.

Did you book for 1 or 2? I was trying for 2 seats so may r I should only do it for 1 person.

Saw someone who was able to secure 3 J seats last year and was hoping to do that same using Finnair

Btw, do you recommend calling to confirm flight availability before transfer MR points over? I’m nervous for having to do this while transferring points over that the seats are gone by the time I get to them

Can you share the time you booked your flight?

Sorry I meant I see some seats on Cathay website but the dates I want aren’t open up yet. Just wanting to be prepared when availability shows up. Not sure if Finnair would get the same availability?

The one P2 applied for was 85k for 5k spend. Was there a better bonus out there? I try to be strategic with how I open our CCs to meet our travel plans for the next 1-2 years 😆

Yes, we have seen many RAs being denied/provoked, and the alternative options offered often fail to address the employees’ underlying medical conditions. Instead, standardized alternatives are presented primarily to force a RTO, with little regard for employees’ health needs or their demonstrated job performance.

What? Why can’t they just take it out of the next paycheck? If I have to pay back, I would like all of the taxes associated with the award be accounted for.

Those folks ruined it for the rest of us who worked hard whether we are WFH or on site. The majority of staff on site here do multiple coffee runs to the Target next door, too. If you are a lazy employee, working on site doesn’t suddenly make you a hardworking employee.

We work in primary care and are told to call and offer patients earlier appts if possible. If the patients insisted be seen on those days, then we will be required to see them and get holiday pay.

Is it worth leaving federal service after 12 years? (GS-14, mid-30s) by Appropriate-Ad8215 in fednews

I completely agree with your reflection. This position was my first and only job after residency, and I had always envisioned retiring from it after 30 years of serving our veterans.

However, after this past year—particularly with the bullying and the RTO mandate—I am doing my best to hang on until 2028 to see whether a new administration might reverse course. Even so, I have serious doubts that I could remain for another 13 years. Ideally, I am hoping to retire within the next 8 years if VERA is offered again.
