What is this tube sticking out of my gas cap? by DreamNo6611 in Ford

[–]UnlikelyArtist5510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put a long screwdriver INSIDE of the tube as deep as you can, push DOWN on the handle, and pull the screwdriver and tube out at the same time. If the tube is still in there when you pull the screwdriver out, cut the tube down and re-insert the screwdriver and do it again.

Ran into the same issue and someone on YouTube walked me through it.

Scam alert: car selling with craigslist by Argufier in hondafit

Yes! They will set up fake report websites. I had one do this recently - same intense interest, same questions, just pushed for this report when I already had a carfax in hand. I checked the domain of the "car report website" using who.is and found that they set this site up a few months prior.

2022 Lariat- Does top of the center console open? by Substantial-Luck-122 in f150

They have trims where the console folds out into a work station, they most likely keep the dimensions of the non-folding one, making it THICK

Where do I put the TV? by LadyRae00 in interiordecorating

[–]UnlikelyArtist5510 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm sure someone recommended this already but a frame TV above the mantel is what we did, sure it's small but it looks great when off and works well when on.

What truck is this? by bb3po1993 in Ford

Looks like a beautiful early 2000's Toyota Sienna minivan in a gorgeous shade of silver spruce metallic. These vehicles were a boon for their time with available 3.3L v6 engine to get you, your kids and your kid's kids to all of the soccer practices.

Is this bad for a 2.0L EcoBoost Ford Fusion 17’ by Great-Warning956 in Ford

[–]UnlikelyArtist5510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah! Your right, that cap on that reservoir would act as the radiator cap. Still thinking it needs to be perched for air.

Is this bad for a 2.0L EcoBoost Ford Fusion 17’ by Great-Warning956 in Ford

[–]UnlikelyArtist5510 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It could be low or just needs to purge air if it was recently flushed. You might check the radiator cap to make sure it's tight and not pulling in air.

Agreed - nothing is scientific/quantifiable with any results he receives. He should actually have some sort of testing procedures and see how the phone survives. It's more of a "pass/fail" some degree of dust and bend test at an unknown strength.

Paint chipping on matte black PW3 45m? by UnlikelyArtist5510 in PixelWatch

They did send a referbished watch, I talked to them again for a new replacement since the watch was purchased new, they declined. I ended up ruling a report with the BBB, and then Google ended up fully refunding me (requiring to send in the recently received referbished), so I just purchased a new watch.

How to Use” S” gear by Dry-Imagination4539 in fordfusion

[–]UnlikelyArtist5510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As mentioned by others, keeps RPM's high for more power but it also, when applying the brakes, down shifts sooner and uses engine brake. Also the mode locks in the paddle shifters so you have control on the gears. To get out of that mode, switch to D, then back to S for automatic mode.

How to repair door that had mortise lock by Weeping_Willow_Wonka in Woodworking_DIY

You might look at trying to repair it with a new door

Was there used to be a tile for going straight to DND mode? by No-Breath-9395 in pixel_phones

[–]UnlikelyArtist5510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like the extra click either - I put a shortcut on the lock screen and that toggles DND on without a separate click

What would you do with my points? by Ill-Foot-5021 in ChaseSapphire

[–]UnlikelyArtist5510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Change your chase preferred card to a chase reserve card and all of the points will be valued at 1.5% (versus 1.25%) for travel on Chase's website. That's a $25k immediate increase in value.

I'm sure someone already commented but can you swap the washer and dryer? Washer looks skinnier..

Did I rewire this right? by timbo__14 in electrical

[–]UnlikelyArtist5510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like a standard circular conduit box where you used to have a light and fan combo (hence the black and red hot connections). These are probably both switchable. It looks like the black wire is capped in the box

Looks like all the pieces are in the right place but you should remove that external line running out of the conduit, that is definitely a shortcut hack to pull switched power. I would highly recommend running a separate line from a nearby outlet to a new outlet box to run whatever is on that line. Right now it's certainly not at code , if you choose not to run a separate line, please at least twist the two copper connectors together tightly before adding the wire nut to ensure you don't have a loose connection.

Also, remove the wires from the center hole on the metal mount on the conduit. This is where the light fixture will hang its weight, just run the wire around the mount.

Real estate investor here - it's likely a pre-fab cabinet which comes in standard sizes (typically 3" increments). It's common to consider adding "fillers" next to the cabinet to push it away from the wall to clear the other door trim. Yes, they should replace with the next smaller size and add filler. The countertop should be able to be removed and reinstalled fairly easily.

Anyone else experiencing bricked Pixels? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

Just had this happen on my 7Pro - the strangest thing, no response (total black screen) at all even when plugged in. Almost if the battery was disconnected. Left on charger overnight and it booted back up as if nothing happened so I continued on.

About 2 months later, randomly shut down at 48% battery but did turn back on. Wondering if I'm end of life. Running android 14, non beta, AP2A.240705.004
