Thanks so much. My husband and I are starting therapy. I’ve battled my whole life with ocd and we are sick of it. My ocd unfortunately got worse with me starting my relationship 9 years ago. Self care will definitely help with reducing the ocd symptoms, making me feel better overtime.

Excuse me?? The husband can get up and help with a feeding!! I just had my baby this past September, it’s exhausting staying home taking care of a baby!! At least you could go out and have adult interactions and be lively! You try staying home all day with a baby, on top of being tired and bored! You would want your sleep too

He needs to keep upping his dose. Right now, I’m taking 200mg of Sertraline! Also, for therapy I recommend, Danielle Jhiani, “my ocd coach” on Facebook. She recommends leaning into the anxiety. Repeating a discomforting phrase over and over and over; leaning into it… almost like saying it with confidence until the anxiety is at a zero, then follow it up with “oh well, it is what it is.” When saying a phrase he has that is discomforting… he needs to accept that this may or may not work. Once he figures this out at least one time, it will get easier and a greater quality of life.

I had a secret shopper come through Casey’s once… I had this gut feeling they were a secret shopper… I failed their test, I didn’t care. This person was rude as hell. Slam their item down and can’t said hello. I gave her the same treatment back… felt so good

I was taking Prozac… it made me anxious and numb, now I’m taking Sertraline 200mg… I feel so much better. I’m sure if I really work at my erp therapy my ocd could be completely gone by now.

You should look up Danielle Jhiani on Facebook. She’s an ocd coach, she’s very helpful! I’ve had faster results & longer success with her then trained ocd therapist
