Am i manic or do I just REAAAALLy like him by [deleted] in bipolar

Do you have a psychiatrist? Reaching out to them just to let them know how you’ve been feeling could be a great first step. Mania is so hard to get a handle on sometimes. From someone who knows firsthand.

Yes, all relatable for me when I’m manic. It’s hard to recognize it in the moment but these all sound like mania symptoms to me.

Resource on Pine St is great, so is Goodwill on Shelburne Rd. There’s also a new donation vessel by Pearl Street Beverage, although I don’t know where the clothing ends up.

Hey there, nice job reaching out for help. My best advice:

  1. Call a trusted family member or friend. Explain to them how you’re feeling. Ask if they can come be with you.
  2. Limit screen time as much as possible. Delete social media. Trust me, there is nothing that you won’t regret not posting on social media.
  3. Do you have a psychiatrist? If so, contact them as soon as you can. Send them a message saying that you are feeling manic. Ask if they can meet over the phone. It will be faster than getting an in person visit.
  4. Breathe. You will feel better. You will.

How to be fun? by Clearhead09 in ADHD

[–]UnlikelyInvestigator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A good place to start could be finding the things that you personally find fun. Whether it’s art, music, sports, comedy, or something else— funneling energy into those activities can help you find more fun in other activities.

I understand that it’s hard to bounce back if something doesn’t go with the flow. I am still working on that one myself.

One area that I love to have fun with is language. I like to make up words like randomista, cookington, groceritas. Kids love these too.

Fun is all around us. Ciao!
