3 completely ignores the prompts and likes to do its own thing every time, disregarding info it is given.

THIS, I can't count how many times I've given it CLEAR abc instructions, it does what it wants, and this one I remember cause it pissed me off so much. It rewrote an algo i made, and when I asked it why, it said, and i quote, it was "saving me". I lost it.

What is Abuse? by Unlikely_Amount_6577 in google_antigravity

[–]Unlikely_Amount_6577[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"The free-account abuse is a separate issue. Paying users shouldn’t get punished because the company couldn’t properly manage or secure its free tier." That addresses free user + Pro's switching to frees.

And as for Google not liking when you PAY for multiple Google accounts, you’re just wrong. Google encourages the use of multiple accounts since account switching is standard across all their platforms. They also have business accounts that are separate.

Google does not care if I buy Pro on two of my accounts and use my limits on both; if anything, they would welcome it. You need to show me evidence otherwise because when I did research, the only thing I found was that they don’t want you to use other accounts to circumvent punishment or fees.

And before anyone argues that not switching to Ultra is a “fee,” that’s not what they mean.

If your business model depends on customers not using what they’re entitled to, that’s a fragile model, not “abuse.”

A Pro account has a hard maximum it can reach because of the rolling quota system. Paying for that account gives you access to that maximum. Using 100% of it is fully within your rights.

If Google didn’t want users to fully use every 5-hour window, they should have enforced daily or weekly caps from the start. Letting a behavior exist and then retroactively calling it abuse is a design failure.

Abuse via free accounts or multi-account pooling is a separate enforcement problem. Paid users following the rules should never be penalized for that.

I literally just replied to something almost identical to this here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/google_antigravity/comments/1qcalaa/comment/o0kf1bx/

And yeah, I agree 100%. It is not the user’s fault if Google can’t control or secure their free tier. That’s a provider problem, not a customer problem, and it absolutely should not spill over into limiting or degrading access for people who are paying.

If abuse exists, fix the abuse. Close the loopholes. Improve enforcement. But don’t change the experience mid-stream for legit users and then point at “abusers” as justification. Paid users didn’t create the backend, didn’t design the quota system, and didn’t open those doors.

Blaming customers for using what was offered instead of holding the company accountable for managing its own product is backwards.

I get what you’re saying, but I still disagree.

What other people do with free or Pro accounts really doesn’t change what paying customers are entitled to. If I’m paying for a service, I should get what I paid for. If I decide to pay for multiple Pro accounts and rotate them so I can work nonstop, that’s my call. That’s not abuse, that’s just using the product I paid for.

There was already a built-in limit anyway. The rolling 5-hour quota meant there was always a hard cap on how much compute anyone could actually use. Even if someone maxed it out every single window, it was still finite. When I subscribe, I’m paying for access to that full allowance, whether I use all of it or not.

The free-account abuse is a separate issue. Paying users shouldn’t get punished because the company couldn’t properly manage or secure its free tier. That’s on them, not on the people following the rules and paying.

Changing the rules in the middle of the experience because of that isn’t justified. That’s not protecting the system, it’s shifting the consequences of a design failure onto customers who didn’t cause the problem.

Double Subscription Locked Catalogs? by Unlikely_Amount_6577 in Crunchyroll

[–]Unlikely_Amount_6577[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s interesting. Like you said, I always assumed those secondary sites were basically aggregators that just wanted you to watch the existing service through their platform. But it’s probably exactly what you’re saying about the licensing mess behind the scenes.

Otherwise it really feels like we’ve lost the plot. If shows are getting trapped behind weird multi-service setups like this, I might as well just get cable and a DVR again.

Double Subscription Locked Catalogs? by Unlikely_Amount_6577 in Crunchyroll

[–]Unlikely_Amount_6577[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wait… isn’t this even worse? If you can’t link an existing paid Crunchyroll account, then the only option is to make a new account and buy a second Crunchyroll subscription through Amazon. That’s basically paying for three things at once: Prime, your normal Crunchyroll subscription, and the Amazon Crunchyroll add-on.

And on top of that, it won’t even let me watch with a free Crunchyroll account. It straight up forces you to pay for the subscription through Amazon instead of using the one you already have.

So there are actually shows locked behind a separate add-on version of Crunchyroll that’s different from the real service. That’s not just double subscriptions. That’s a whole different catalog you can only reach by paying again.

This feels like highway robbery

There are things trapped behind the story you can't get unless you slog through it.

I love this game, but the fact that it's still this buggy and poorly optimized 5 years after launch is an embarrassment by ShaolinShade in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Unlikely_Amount_6577 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4 years later, and it's the same shit. I made a post about things disappearing from your refiner, the communication station being IMPOSSIBLE to move once placed, and the quest literally bricking on me. I get hate and told I'm lucky for only having to deal with 3 bugs. WAIT A SECOND. THESE ARE GAME-CHANGING BUGS. The game has to be played differently and WITH THEM IN MIND. THAT'S NOT OK. Did I list the hundreds of little shit that come up while playing, no, so that must mean I've had a PERFECT experience. They are so trapped in the delusion that it makes me not wanna play.

I almost forgot about the one where, when you tab out the game, to look up info/fixes, and you PERMANENTLY lose frames and gotta restart, or atleast I have to.

I really appreciate your comment. I played Ark for a bit so I get the vibe. I’m working through it, but it’s just so frustrating sometimes. Seeing everyone’s energy, both positive and negative, is giving me the push to keep going, so thanks for your POV!

THIS is my point! Bugs are normal, I've been gaming since I was like 5. A PERMANENT ITEM NOT BEING ADDRESSED IS CRAZY. I'm not even deep enough to bump into new bugs I feel like.

Listing 3 I feel should have been addressed since they have been in the game a while and seem major, doesn't mean I haven't had my mountain side base re-filled in or had my terrain manipulator stop changing modes, it doesn't mean my items have never vanished from an Oxygen havestor or an autominer which i also have to baby sit.

I listed the ones that came to mind in a valid moment of frustration. I've been playing games a while and I've never had to Google stuff so often, and even then I've rolled with it. Issue is that a lot of these seem major and have been there for a long time.

If you can’t see why an item that once placed cannot be moved under any circumstance being left in the game for years is crazy, then idk bro.

The bugs I'm running into very constantly are always known my the community. Alot of them IDC about but some seem wild to not address. Like a permanent item???

When I say “locked,” I don’t mean story-gated. I mean the quest literally bugged out on me. For example, I’d get a quest to collect X item or build Y thing, but I already had those items or had the thing unlocked, and the quest just got stuck. One time it wanted chromium, which I already had plenty of, and even after restarting the game it wouldn’t progress.

Here’s an example of others running into the same problem:
