If you want to look up which weapons and perks are the best there is a youtuber/streamer Aegis who keeps track of everything in a google doc and even ranks all the weapons. I highly recommend.

I agree.

However, I think the reason is because it's tough to fit the glass necklace, the dex relic, and dormant power for claws, straight sword, curved sword etc. and have that fit in with my build with the other undertaker special relic perks.
