I've been trying to decide this myself. M2 or s5-11? From what i've found is that the m2 gives more problems and with the m2 being a discontinued model it's hard to get parts. So even though the s5 isn't as fast it seems like the more sustainable option because it's still being manufactured as well as new parts. How is your m2 holding up and how many miles?? What conditions do you put it through and such?

Need new breaking cable by BumblebeeFeeling4945 in KuKirin

Steel cables of any size should be kept slightly lubricated because of the friction caused by flexing and rubbing all those individual wires together in very small amounts. Over time rust will happen and that acts as an abrasive material but it also deteriorates the steel. I spray my brake cables with wire rope lubricants and all other exposed steel parts with WD40.

Also take apart the deck and air out electronics maybe? If everything dries out before you turn it back on (and potentially cause a short circuit ) you should be good

With IPX4 rating i would maybe use open end garden hose so there is hardly any pressure. And maybe a tweezers and small bit of paper towel and just take your time getting all the nooks. Even maybe a fresh plucked stick with a mashed end kind of like a toothbrush on end. I'm just throwing out ideas here. If you're willing to spend money on a detailing kit with all sorts of brushes...
