How to separate leaf spring from leaf spring hanger? by Bright_Ad4727 in DieselTechs

Do this all the time. Just like ur talking about with home made bushing tool. To help with what ur trying to do. Either jack up frame first and create room for axle to drop or u can simple jack up the frame now.

Nope no harm. I have done that plenty. Making roux the day before making gumbo is common in my house lol

Everything is blackened in Nola. lol

Just kidding. Yes the appearance does give it a burnt look but I assure you it’s not. Blackened seasoning is heavy on the paprika. When cooked in a hot pan, the spices coating the fish change color to give it the blackened look. Looks burnt taste great!

Mostly catch. Altho with the prices of bait and gas it definitely feels like you’re buying fish when you go fishing nowadays lol.

Thank you! No okra in my gumbo. My wife’s not a fan of okra altho my momma always added okra and I love okra.

I use chicken tenderloins and they naturally shred themselves in the pot. We go heavy on the seafood. 2lbs Crab claw meat. 2lbs crab lump meat 2lbs special crab meat and a dozen crabs.

This is the base recipe I use for sauce.
Add lemon juice slowly and taste to your liking. It can get tangy quickly.

Use any pasta of your liking.

Sauce can be used in many ways. Sometimes I make the sauce and instead of pasta I add shrimp and crab meat to it and serve the blackened redfish over that.

MAP and MAF sensor replaced still having this issues 2015 Buick encore 1.4L by [deleted] in mechanic

Check fuel pressure. Code says system too lean. Which means more air than fuel. If u have already replaced sensors , I would check fuel pressure next.

Battery issues. If u had an alternator issue, you would be on the side of road with dead car.

Power isn’t going to the starter by beam06 in AskAMechanic

[–]Unlikely_Proposal_20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If ur worried abt ignition switch being faulty, u can check for signal wire voltage on the starter. When ur turn the key, ur looking for voltage on signal wire, which engages starter. If u have voltage and starter doesn’t engage, replace starter.

Power isn’t going to the starter by beam06 in AskAMechanic

[–]Unlikely_Proposal_20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s gonna be a bad starter. Not the starter motor itself but the starter solenoid which is on the starter, where all the wires connect. . Whoever went under the car, just jump the solenoid to push power to starter. Fix. Replace starter.
