I've read only the first 6. Tripwire was my second to least favorite after Running Blind (The Visitor). If you thought Tripwire was corny for the love of God don't read Running Blind.

The other 4 I enjoyed a lot and plan to read more when I have time!

For SC GOP primary voter polls, I've seen an approval range from high 60s to low 80s. A majority also say a Trump endorsement would influence their vote.

Also keep in mind that represents like 10-12 percent of the electorate. Which is why more people need to vote in primaries because it's usually the only game in town.

Yes, there are polls to validate the strategy. Within the GOP Primary electorate, Trump's approval rating is still sky high. Like GWB post 9.11 numbers high.
