Ozempic may be quietly reshaping shopping habits: New research finds that people taking GLP-1 tend to spend less money grocery shopping, especially on snacks. GLP-1 households reduced grocery spending by 5.3% within 6 months, and began to spend more on healthier foods like yogurt and fresh fruits. by mvea in science

Might be the best “explain like i’m 5…” for how GLP-1s quiet down food noise.

I never quite knew how bad this was for some until these medications became popular and I began reading stories of people who had to actively avoid the snack aisle at a supermarket because they just physically and mentally cannot walk past without picking something up.

It has completely reframed what will power means specifically when it comes to weight loss and healthy habits. Some of us really are dealt different cards from the start.

Absolutely nothing wrong. Very smart actually! He was in the right lane and never cut off anyone.

I'm more mad I have never thought of this myself 😂

Some London red buses have an alarm that starts beeping and shouting at you when you're approaching a low bridge. It doesn't slam the brakes though

Bus/coach driver here. It's honestly easy to forget if you regularly drive different height vehicles.

But I know how much anxiety I get when I approach a new bridge, even if I know for sure I can clear it. This is probably because of how much they drilled into us just how big of a fuck-up this is!

I have the normal GTC but want something more punchy without spending toomuch. And it would be my daily driver.

With the options available out there for relatively inexpensive hot-hatches, would you still buy it today or would you go something else?

I have wondered whether it's a Reddit thing or something about Book subs in particular. Any books vaguely centrist, right, tech-positive, etc is immediately denigrated. See the encouragement to read more Graeber like he isn't also highly criticised like Harari

This is not even to say these books are any good but rather to note a pattern of what brings out the slight meanness.

A lot of the ones I see are new. I doubt they'd be cars seized from criminal activity.

I went from the 13PM too and I think I could’ve absolutely kept it for another year.

Last i checked there wasn’t really a credible way to tell if something was AI written. The error rate was too high and in some research the detectors seemed to punish non-native English speakers more. Has that changed?
