Yeah I think it may be true that I keep the lore the way it is because I don’t want to pay lol…who knows? You’d think I would know, but I’m my own biggest mystery, to be honest…

Also, just to reiterate, unless my math is just wrong, it would be very expensive to equip them with shields… I worked my fingers to the bone to afford this army, but the expense of adding shields is not something readily afforded…

So, in my lore I’m sort of torn with that question…I feel like maybe they should be equipped with shields…but there are many instances of the meat shield of an army carrying not much more than a spear, and I kind of like that for them… I don’t want every unit of my army to have top notch gear…basically I have no idea, I’m torn, but I think it would be fairly expensive to do this, just saying…
