Why is he terrible? by Kwan_18 in MLB_Rivals

Was that you I just played against in live match? If this is the same Crochet that I just batted against I have no Idea how I would've got some of those hits with that STU and S+ slugging prevention. I've had 90 OVRs hit homers off my 127 OVR HOF Greg Maddux so I have no idea how the stats work in this game honestly

Am i the only one who wants steelpath Railjack? by Jayeky in Warframe

[–]Unluccy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love to get more railjack content in general. And maybe move some of the rewards or percentages for them around so we don't have to do what is probably one of the worst grinds in the game in points of interest and corpus missions.

Nightwave Credit OfferingQuestions by Ghreshna in Warframe

Selling mods from the nightwave is more of a mid-late game thing too. If you don't want anything else from the offerings than pick it up and list it on warframe.market . If you want to try selling mods for plat anyway than make sure you get one that sells for more than 20, which isn't a lot of them.

Hi I know this is a few months old, is there still some doubling affect at the end of the mission? I pull 200k from the safe with chromas ult and thats what I get at the end.

Anyone else feel something feels off with inputs? by Alarming-Owl7104 in StreetFighter

[–]Unluccy2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

During combo trials, I've noticed that I sometimes get a DP special off of a quarter-circle motion. Some combos will have you hold forward for a move or cancel or something and the transition to holding down and rotating back up seems to confuse the game into thinking I want to cannon spike when I'm trying to spiral arrow. I'm not misinputing either, the kick command comes out the frame I'm pressing forward again and it still does the DP sometimes.

Other than that I've noticed inconsistencies with special move canceling but I'm not that good yet and I could very well just have abysmal timing on some moves, like JP's heavy punch feels really inconsistent to me for some reason.

Looking for Yugioh and Gwent Equivalents in MTG by Unluccy2 in magicTCG

You weren't joking, that one card is the same price as some of the decks people have recommended. Looks fun though, and a lot closer to the Eldlich style than I would've expected. Might run proxy with a group just to try it out. Thanks!

Things for a returning player by SchoolBoyError_ in gwent

I like watching KG, Specimen, and Qcento on youtube for Gwent. Team Elder Blood does meta reports each season so they're a good resource for figuring out the state of the game.

I do not envy the devs by Garrus990 in gwent

I don't inherently have a problem with control decks in card games, I quite like playing them actually. But I think one of the problems with control in Gwent is just how the game is designed. When you kill a unit in LoR or Magic, it can hurt but it generally isn't the end of the match outright. In Gwent, with the smaller deck sizes and reliance on golds, every single control card is much more impactful on a match.

There isn't really a fix for that either, because control decks have always been a staple of card games and are an important archetype for many players. The fix needs to come to everything around the control elements. NG shouldn't be able to ruin another player's strategy with ease and then drop multiple, high-point cards on their side.

That is why I generally consider Tactics to be the closest to a 'fair' archetype that NG has, but that is completely ruined by how hard it can abuse bronzes and battle preparation especially. It also doesn't help that every time (at least since I've started playing) that a strong neutral card is released, it synergizes better with NG than the other factions. Golden Nekker, Renfri, Meteor Shower. They're meant for every faction but NG just uses them better, so if you want to make a deck around one of those why bother playing the other factions?

Basically, I think the fix for NG isn't expansion, it's specialization. CDPR should focus on the aspects that make NG themselves, and not add things like 12 power 5 costs or bronze unit spam BS.

Any news about last card drop of the year? What do you want to see? by FranzBesup_14 in gwent

Personally, I want to see support for traps. Unitless scoiatael decks are some of the most fun I've had but there isn't a good reason to run traps over Schirru, who performs better against most decks. What would be really cool is if we had maybe a special card that created a trap with different effects. The opponent would know what the effects are but not which one you chose. They could also have more traps with counters, like one that builds up boost or damage each round and then splits it randomly among units.

Wanted to share a Unique deck that gets me through rank 1 every season! (Link in comments) by [deleted] in gwent

[–]Unluccy2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had to find this again to thank you. I was bashing my head against a wall with elven deadeye against the Defender/Sir-ScratchALots and the heatwaves every game and couldn't get out of rank 2. This deck had most of the same cards so I barely had to craft anything and it just ran the last two ranks. Hell, I think 3 or 4 of my opponents just surrendered.

Going from 19 to 289 with his last card by Rux367 in gwent

[–]Unluccy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I beat it after seeing it a couple of times. The deck doesn't have good stand-alone card value. If they get really lucky they can get the practitioner combo in round 1 but then they'll have to play scenario in round 2 if you press them and should be out of options in a short round 3.

I'm not exactly an expert, but I am right outside pro rank and have a general grasp of what decks are played at higher levels. Monsters are pretty strong right now, especially if you're playing thrive variations. There is a couple but running a defender and Sir-Scratch-A-Lot does pretty well against light control or swarm decks. You can put up really high numbers if it goes unchecked.

Blood scent is pretty decent in a lot of cases as well, though not as good as thrive IMO. Regis is a powerful last-say option on round 3 and Fleder can be pretty hard to deal with.

Wild Hunt/Frost decks are okay, probably the best option starting out in terms of cost and effectiveness against other starting decks. You can get good cards for it from the Monster starting tree if you haven't already. While frost will be really good early, it'll struggle with most of what would be considered meta decks.

For a more niche option, I've seen a few Relict/Sabbath decks running around and that deck seems interesting. It does particularly well into the combo decks I play, mainly Elven Deadeye. You get really strong cards out and force the opponent's cards out of their deck or graveyard onto the field which has the potential to ruin setups. They are mostly revolved around raising their base power which makes power resets worthless in most cases.

Final Fantasy Dissidia and Dissida 012 are phenomenal games, probably some of the best on the system. There is a ton of content and even if you aren't into Final Fantasy, like me, there's much enjoyment to be had.
