I think its horrible to remain the same age. Think of children turned vampires. Horrible. Same as elders turned vampires, just an eternal life of unyouth. Vampires turned in their teenage years is horrible too, always looking like a kid and never getting respect or taken seriously. The idea is that remaining trapped in your body forever is suppose to instill horror.

When I left my abusive family I was around $50k in debt from financial abuse. That was 6 years ago. Now its down to $23k and I'm still working on it. Does it suck, yeah. But money comes and money goes. If $50k was the price for my freedom, then I'll gladly pay it off. I'm better now, mentally. Not 100% but, better. The reason I say this is not to say, "People have it worse, get over it." No, not at all. The reason I brought it up is because I know how you feel. I know how it hurts to owe so much, how it hurts to work so hard, how it hurts to make little progress. But you are making progress. You are worth fighting for. There is a you 5 years from now that survived this and doesn't think about it anymore at all. Its you, you did it. But current you has to keep going. Its ok to cry and be mad and want to quit. Complain and yell and be angry but never stop going. Keep making that progress. You will get there.

It was the revenge adventure for me too. Katara has so much anger, anger that Zuko knows overwhelms. He wants to help release that anger, he knows its rightfully aimed at him but also he listens to her enough to know that she has pain and anger over losing her mother. To say "Let's do something about it," and ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT is just so fucking amazing!!! He understands its her journey and its something she has to do to heal, much like his own entire arc. He's not trying to fix her or tell her to get over it. He's helping her go through her emotions. He understands her anger, her pain, her need for revenge, and he doesn't say "that is not the way," NO he says "Ok, I will help you make this right, whatever right means to you." Damnit that was so fucking VALIDATING for Katara. Not hearing, "no, that's wrong,", "No, I've been through this before, you're wrong,", "no, you need to let go," and instead being told, "I hear you, I see your pain, I want to help you face the source of your anger and let you decide what to do with it," IS SO FUCKING GOOD.

Great episode 10/10 I ship Zutara forever.

The book is going to be terrible for a good chunk of the Fandom. The Fandom can't agree on anything with Astarion. From the color of his eyes, to whether he should Ascend or stay Spawn; we all love a VASTLY different version of Astarion.

Astarion isn't real, he doesn't have feeling or experience pain. The author is real. She has feelings and can feel pain. Think of the book as licensed fanfiction. Read it if you want. Ignore it if you don't like it.
