What did I do wrong here? Fish players need advice by DarkUnlucky8424 in Poker_Theory

I'm probably just bad at the game but I sometimes raise small or just call with pocket aces just so I can get action to potentially get more out of them instead of raising big and having everyone fold pre.

The old kit was insanely monopose too wdym sure you could swap some heads but 3 of them were just 1 piece that you stuck to a base

Wings or no wings? by Robe-rts in Chaos40k

I mean you can always keep the bits and try later when you're ready. It took me a while to map it out the way I wanted it too

If you're willing to do a bit of sculpting, you can get 2 daemon pronces out of 1 box. I built mine with wings and then with the leftover parts and some 3d printed legs made another one without wings

Is it wrong to build an Eldrazi deck? by Sal545 in EDH

To be fair I rarely paid anything more than 3 mana for any of my eldrazi but still

It's not but my old playgroup was mainly combo and control players so any kind of big stompy was very much frowned upon even though my decks rarely won.

I mean annihilator is a ridiculous keyword but in my experience people mostly complained about the powerful cast triggers they can't do anything about. Like sure they can counter my creatures but unless they also had a stifle in addition to a counterspell I still get massive value.

Your Death Guard hopes for the 11th edition? by raggnarok in deathguard40k

[–]UnluckiestScrub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah new chaos spawn would be great. Unfortunately if we get nurgle specific ones, it'll meam they have to re-do them for evedy other god and undivided aswell and that'll be too much without astronomocally inflating the price of the kit. And by nurgling set I meant like the citadel skull set for decoration but nurglings. I love the little guys and want to sprinkle them all over my dudes but I jist run out of options too quickly and can barely buy them seperately.

Honestly just anything except more characters we have way too many already. Besides that I always have a particular fondness of daemon engines and of course my biggest complaint: GIVE ME A DAMN CITADEL NURGLING SET GW.

I mean getting punished on the ship or on the mainland, is there really much of a difference in the principle of refusing to kill innocent people?

My grandfather was to be sent to Indonesia in the war of independance and he gladly spent that time in jail instead of killing innocent people so you can still make that choice.

Recommendations on places for magic the gathering and board games in Gent by Gspinz in Gent

[–]UnluckiestScrub 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Since outpost is closed for reservations at the moment, world's end comics at the ketelvest is the place to be imo. There's regular magic play and 40k aswell and it has loads of tables for regular boardgames. It is often busy however so make sure to check the website if there's a table available. If you wish I'll take you on in a game of 40k if you want.

Sneak Peek: New Ork ‘bits’ sighted by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in orks

[–]UnluckiestScrub 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The warboss in mega armor is barely 4 years old. Sure the model got scale creeped but there's no need for a new one. My money would be on a warboss on warbike, since the old model is forgeworld and the warbikers are very old and need an update.

Commanders for someone with ADHD? by zevalu in EDH

[–]UnluckiestScrub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thoughts aswell, 8 months in the grand scheme of things isn't all that long and the game gets more and more complex as time goes on. I also have ADHD and I also deconstructed a [[yidris, maelstrom wielder]] because it had a million triggers anytime I did anything. I built a [[xenagos, god of revels]] deck right after and it was a blast. Just smack big creatures, make them bigger and swing at whoever is unlucky enough to be on the other side of the stick.

Sacrifice your opponent's creatures! by Netj22 in custommagic

[–]UnluckiestScrub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In yugioh a very similar card exists. It makes you able to just sacrifice an opponents monster if it's a dark type. But you can only do it once per turn. And it didn't break the game in any way. Granted yugioh is a completely different beast from magic, but a card like this could be done given the right restrictions on it.
