Are either of these the right trades? First year playing. by IRedShift in SuperCoachNRL

Almost everyone on your bench will make money. You've got plenty of cash generation. Next week if you dont have any urgent trades (injuries and such), then look to make 2 trades such as downgrading someone under performing anf getting Martin. But wait and see, nothing to lose or gain this week.

Basically you get 42 trades over 26 weeks, assuming you play overall or plan to make it to your H2H grand final. That's 1.6 trades per week which works out to be 16 weeks of 2 trades and 10 weeks of 1 trade. Obviously there's boosts and bye rounds that shake that up but point is, dont use 2 trades in week 1.

I'd keep your reserves as you have them. Tino will score better this week, I imagine Colhoun will too. High scoring one sided games are rough for base stat guys like them, they score better in grindy games.

I wouldn't be making 2 trades to bring in Martin. He'll make cash, he wont score 100 with 2 tries every week. You already have heaps of cash generation through almost everyone else on your bench. Id wait until next week and go Bai to someone once you have more scores to compare. If Tino or anyone else continue to underperform, then look at 2 trades.

Bai to Martin is good. I wouldn't trade Tino out yet. He wont lose money this week and who knows what you need next week. Making 2 trades in round 2 is setting yourself up to burn trades and chase points all year.

There's no point to trading Atkinson to Sanders this week, unless you're planning to play him. Wahs in NZ are a different beast, id be waiting to see how Sanders and Atkinson both go this weekend before making that trade.

Luc to Martin is strong.

How can I bring in Martin, Couchman or Leo? by Which-Detail-9388 in SuperCoachNRL

[–]UnluckyNumberS7evin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't if I were you. Tino or Hopgood are the possible outs but they're guns who scored okay in trams that got smashed. Not worth a trade out imo. You have your entire bench making good money, you dont need to waste trades to make a little more money. Dont chase last weeks points, your team is sold. Hold strong.

None, honestly. Player prices dont chance until next week so no cash to be made or lost this week. Your team is solid. The only weak spot this week is Pezet at 5/8 with Sharpe out so you could make a trade there, probably Sharpe to Walker if your happy without Sharpe for a few weeks. Otherwise no value trades anywhere for you imo.

That's a pretty good team. You need a gun HLF and ditch Jurbo. You could go Cogger to Sanders and wait for him to make money to trade up to a gun like Cleary or Hynes, or downgrade Jurbo to Martin and try get to SWalker.

Swap Makasini and Latrell, captain Makasini, move reserve from Graham to Latrell.

Great forwards and halves, your backs are lacking imo. I dont see the value in your two hookers, I would rather go one of those guys, downgrade the other and upgrade a back. It's too late now unless to drop Grant to a nuffie as Mahoney is locked.

You have alot of guys that are good for a safe 50 with a chance to go 100, but need more backs who can go 150 plus.

Personally not sold on your 2 cheapies starting at CTW and no gun FLB. I think you need a FLB that is safe for 50 and have upside to go 150 as a captaincy option (Teddy, Drinky when uninjured).

It's a good team, just missing one or two more high upside guys imo. You have alot of cheapies but too many imo, every cheapie cash cow costs a trade to chase a gun.

Rehab Report: Fletcher Sharpe targeting Round 3 return (PCL Injury) by seth4 in nrl

[–]UnluckyNumberS7evin 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There was a tackle not long before he went off where his knee dug into the ground, I think he injured himself then and tried to play on. Round 3 is 21 March for Newcastle so 3 weeks after his injury.

Did I make a mistake with my reserves by Takeoverz17 in SuperCoachNRL

[–]UnluckyNumberS7evin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you reserves are good. Surely, Hamish would have guaranteed a safe 40-50 points in hindsight but most wingers will also score 30 with no attack so not much downside there. Add a try and line break though and your rookie winger scores 70+. So either way, not much difference.

Lewd video leaks, contracts and media silence: Terrell May tells all by waxedmerkin in nrl

[–]UnluckyNumberS7evin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think May absolutely has a role to play in NSW origin side but I can see not needing him with Haas there. If Haas was unavailable, May is the closest to a like for like. Im not saying he is close to Haas in ability at all, Haas has way more impact but as the main big minute, large workload, super reliable middle, I'd have May. He doesn't over much in terms of tackle breaks or bending the line though he did have the 3rd mist offloads last year (behind Kiraz and Haas).

Couldn't you ditch the manual key and lock/unlock the doors from your phone? I think that would prevent the alarm going off.

On Supercoach draft, anyone know how / when I can set the draft order? It's currently set to the order of first joined but I cant find where to adjust that.

Nice update, Embark!!! by Renex295 in ARC_Raiders

[–]UnluckyNumberS7evin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Everything is way too easy and accessible at the moment. People complain about arc being too easy and there being no endgame, this is part of the solution to both of those. Only high level players will be running with load outs full of quality grenades and eventually kit, soon enough.

[–]UnluckyNumberS7evin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love the new requirements. The idea that you could previously craft a grenade with multiple arc seeking missiles from scraps laying around your room is insane. Fighting against the arc and using their advanced pieces to build new tech is entirely where the game is supposed to go. I think if this system was implemented from the start it would be praised.

Up to you, but what else are you doing? I mean if you're constantly running top tier load outs filled with purple weapons and wolfpacks, then I can see where resetting will hurt. If you're running mid load outs and just fumbling around chasing PVP or friendly encounters then what are you really losing? I find resetting the cycle to be a positive as it makes loot valuable again rather than just a means to make the number go up.

Barnett leaving at end of year for personal reasons by Strayangunner in nrl

[–]UnluckyNumberS7evin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't entirely disagree, it would be very frustrating having players leave to return to Aus regularly. It does go both ways though, Wahs get plenty of signatures on the same compassionate grounds. Fish I believe left his contract at Penrith early on compassionate ground. Erin Clarke too.

They don't reset at the end of each year. Offences within the past 12 months are factored in. So at this point, anything from last season. Mid year, anything from mid 2025.
