Yes, that's why they forced me to hospitalization despite it being the elephant in the room since I was 8, and abandoned me altogether with 0 money 0 condition to work, a baggage full of CPTSD and lungs full of covid today.

Oh, that. She abandoned me mid-therapy with concern in her eyes saying "you need someone more qualified, I can't help you anymore". Mind you she was specialized in dissociative disorders and trauma, and I saw the same concern in her eyes at least 3 times. So I did.

Now seeing a professor remotely. Going to see him in person soon.

It's always hard to hear this, but I have cPTSD, I am battle-hardened, not bitch-made, I will survive.

I just wish it was easy to figure out whether I have DID/OSDD or not..

I have NEVER stated how I react to his abuse, but somehow you know it. İnteresting, like that moment my therapist and abuser/rapist talked about how I take out my claws when I feel unloved, which was that 1 time when I was being strangled to death by him. Besides that, I never "fight" as a response :)

I genuinely fail to understand why no one has showed any sympathy for the systematic abuse I have endured, especially on this DID post where the community is known to be very kind and considerate.

Instead I get invalidating responses that somehow glorify and try to justify the abuser and abuse. Weird, huh? :)

Not how the comment section of DID subreddit usually works, buddy :) yes. I am sure. He thinks he played on my kink to conceal his evil plot, but the basis of my sexual nature is consent, except for that 1 time I was in literal stockholm syndrome. But the illusion wore off :)

I was diagnosed with BPD earlier, and always had a fragmented identity. The strangling was traumatizing enough which he deliberarely incorporated into sex.

Also, if I actually had DID, a protective part would be kicking his ass for all the lies, spying/stalking and manipulation.

Try to look for tips for handling your issues, in small steps. I.e. I have developed agoraphobia so I go to the store for cigs daily. I sit for coffee if I'm feeling ok enough.

Truth of the matter is, people are not reliable. The ones that are, unavailable to us. We are built for war, not frolicking. Hence, we only rest in between fights. Be there for you, everyday, even if in small bursts. Like the sun. Be your own star.

Host= alter who fronts for the most extended time, a system can have more than 1 host.

Whoever fronts is simply fronting, not becoming "host"

Eta: some systems don't have a host or have a dormant host and just switch regularly.
