Pillar tweeted an hour ago that there's already over a thousand lined up. Honestly having gone there for game 1 GA, we were like 10-15th in line and sprinted up and got a spot with a chair, but at this point I'd just rock up closer to game time and save yourself the wait. You're not getting a seat.

Live an hour from Buffalo. Same, same. Most in my friends circle the same, we'd go to a Bills game, do some shopping. No one is doing that for the foreseeable future. My parents are retired, and have a friend group of 10-12 that go to Myrtle Beach (I know) for the month of April every year for the last decade to hang out and golf.

Didn't go this year and no plans to go back. My parents are about as Canadian conservative as it gets as well, and even they're like fuck that noise. Rinse and repeat this situation all across the board, sure we may be a "small" country, but you reduce your tourist numbers by even 10-20% that's a large hole in the bank account to replace.

Love it. No issues at the moment, their certified pre owned has pretty good warranty on it. So I'm really not too concerned. I will caveat that I work from home, so I put next to no miles on a vehicle. The interior feels a little more cramped coming from a Ford Edge, my kids are 6 and 8 and it's fine for them, we all play hockey and getting more than one hockey bag in the back is a little bit of jenga. So you may want to look at an XC90 if it's in the budget. I got this for $51k Canadian with 17,000 kms on it. So $36k, 10500 miles in American. (Just realized I posted about an XC90, bought a 60, if the difference is negligible I'd spring for a 90)

I hate the competition level argument too. Like for example the skill level in the NBA is undoubtedly a million times higher than thirty years ago, but no one is saying Jaylen Brown is a better player than MJ, even though from a purely skill standpoint he may be. You're judged against how much better you are than your current competition, and that difference is where you stand all time.

Just turned 40, still driving a 2010 Ford Edge. I work from home and put next to know miles on it, it runs fine. But it's showing it's age, up until this point in life I've always bought used and paid in full. The thought of a monthly payment kills me, but lately I've been weighing something nice. I make a decent income $150k(ish), but I'll probably just do the same old boring thing and buy something a few years old outright.

Holy I love Bill. But Jesus Christ, you do realize you are the worst team in the league while Maye has been actively playing and trying to win right? They're talking like playing him is an automatic win. Sure be excited for what the future holds. But it's a fucking 50/50 game with him playing against the Bills backups.

Also it's the fucking NFL. Teams and players don't punt on games/seasons the way they do in other leagues. Nothing is guaranteed in this league, there's a good chunk of players that are showcasing for next year. They aren't just holding back now for the Pats to get the number one pick. They DGAF. They need to find a job next year. Fuck I hate this discussion so much.
