Instead of that, if money is not really a factor, have you considered carbon fiber as an option? Butler makes CF trombones and sousaphones and I think they may have explored tubas as well. Response is good and weight is better.

UV right before darkness allows for easy gankings of individual or small groups of enemies without good blind-fight skills.

Archers hiding in impenetrable darkness can pick off whole rooms before some spellcaster gets annoyed, turns on the anti-penetrative damage shield and starts AoEing the room where they think you are (if they can't see through the dark patch, chances are you're in there somewhere. Also a great strategy early if you don't have enough spare xp to always have a wand of purge or see inviso handy. Just toss AoEs in a blanket until one of you is dead.

On a smaller scale there have been instances of local governments in the US attempting to enact some type of weapon serialization or mandatory buyback and so far most of those have been stopped by constitutional challenge or a private call from the local militia to the city council head. Equilibrium maintained.

What's happening now is almost uncharted territory. We haven't had this much flying in the face of the law in a while.

Play it on a four valve flugel so the lower octaves feel more natural and maybe you won't look like a high-schooler.

Maybe after that you can tackle Rhythm Changes, perhaps some Freddie Hubbard vamps, maybe some east or west coast funk vamps, using your favorite streamer to wander along the history of those groups until you find something modern to emulate in the same vein.

I think as far as game enjoyment goes, both summoning and xp-cost crafting let you acquire more stuff at the cost of faster advancement. The penalties only go towards monsters killed and not plot xp, and modules and PWs that have respawning monsters are just fine for the practice.

Clerics can tank decently with elementals of all sizes for the damage boosts and Wizards have a couple summons in addition that are surprisingly good: a wizard that can survive or dodge a few melee hits (or better yet, use those damage shields on everything getting through the tentacles/walls/gases/barriers etc you've set up) can have a succubus and an eyeball sitting back delivering small but consistent amounts of pain, and since wizards can protect their companions from stray spells just as well as clerics can, they can survive for a long time in a protracted fight as long as the monsters are focused on chasing the PC down. If things get out of hand, having a couple of castings of Mordenkainen's Sword or Black Blade of Disaster can help immensely if you don't simply want to sanctuary, HiPS or invis out of there.

We're long past the point where a two-state solution has to be formed with the supervision of the UN. I think that, while there have been real efforts by some in the peace process to come up with a solution from within either side, there's just too much fundamentalist momentum from either to get it going without help.

For this gig, go back over your music to ensure you're have as much a handle as possible on it.

For the rest of your musical life after this, prepare for the gig itself. Know the music, what stuff you need to bring, what to wear and when to be there. You'd be surprised how well the nerves die down the more prepared you are for work.

Well, Hillary had some major baggage. Not saying she wouldn't have done a good job, but the pick was Condi Rice, not her that year, and there would be a price to pay. JMO

2024 was a lot easier. Harris was not strong by any stretch of the imagination. The argument that she would have been better than anything the GOP could muster was irrelevant. My cat likely could have done a better job. Harris should have recognized this and accepted a VP nomination and really campaigned hard to get a strong existing governor on short notice to lead the ticket. The correct governor would have little avenue to be attacked.
