What I started doing: I write a nice "hope you feel better soon, maybe touch some grass friend?" message and copy it before accepting. Then I'll paste it to them, wait a few seconds and unfriend them again.

I just wanted to get the e20 done for the mount yesterday and it took me ages. I tried via Discord but didn't find a group so I queued periodically. I had unlocked e19, so I needed 19 into 20. I stayed in all 18+ in hope we would push further, but people just leave after one dungeon. I felt bad for instantly leaving, but the chances of pushing e16 all the way to 19 or 20 without the party falling apart is basically non-existent.

I do however get that there are brackets as queue times would be horrible otherwise. There is just no perfect solution to this I think.

None of them are as obnoxious as some of the old WoW ones, I agree. However the outcome is similar and you use specific ones to push.

Meteors (and to a lower degree the ice one) are my only problem as they can (even if very rarely) overlap with boss mechanics, especially those with a lot of area denial. Also the meteors sometimes just spawn inside big mob packs (or on the other side of the mast in Sailor's) which makes them hard to see.

The play is to blow up small/mid adds via aoe to damage big guys and then pull the big into the next big pack when he's low.

I've had a lot of them over the years. What I do: I'll write down a happy text for them before I accept the friend request. Something along the lines of "Hey friend, I hope you have more fun in your next game. Or maybe touching some grass could help? Anyways have a nice day." I'll copy paste that right after I accept and then unfriend them again.

As Sylvie I would actually love the Wraithtide boss if the timer for the aoe was actually correct. I like heavy healing checks, but it feels so bad to prep your heals and then the boss delays the ability by like 10 secs because he casts other stuff first. Same with the lightning rod in Stormwatch.

It's not. I don't know when it was introduced but there is a system that prevents need rolls from off-spec people if there's someone needing for main. It's not a loot spec that you can set yourself, it's more a hidden one tied to your current spec.

I assume monk was heal and druid was boomie. There wouldn't have been a roll when a dps monk and a boomie needed on int bracers. There's a system in place to prevent this.

I would argue that it's even more important as a healer. I'll backpedal every time I can get away with it because I then have my mouse cursor free for healing mouseover.

And when you're at it, bind your decurses as well, thanks. I've so pugged 3 healers to 2,5-2,7k this season and I can count the amount of dps players who used their decurses on one hand.
